My cousin just died of breast cancer. I used to think life was something that I could end whenever I wanted, when things get bad. But now I think about how she really wanted to live her life, and throwing mine away would be like spitting on her grave.

@CelestianPyro I can really understand what you're saying, but sometimes when you think you can end your life even things get bad life just doesn't seem to work that way. Where you can just check out whenever you want to. I'm am truly sorry to hear about your cousin, I think just dealing with cancer alone and having the courage to live even with it made her strong than most people can even comprehend.

I like this song, it often helps me....all my friends are skinny, except one that is like me and she thinks she is fat. I think shes not but somethimes I feel like shes right and that we both are....then I watch anorexia vids and say to myself: "you DON'T want thins" and it helps.....nice vid....:)

This song has such a great message to boys and girls. I am 12 and get scared when my skinny friends are saying that they are overweight. I always say ''no you are not. If you are any skinnier you will have a problem!'' they always then say ''dont pretend, i know you want me to feel better, but i know im getting fat''

i get so worried and ticked off. Sometimes i feel like nobody listens to me! :(

The thing is, that this isn't just"ana". It's a disease. I disease that could potentially hurt you really badly. You're beautiful just the way you are, and you don't need to stop eating to become beautiful, because it's going to make you sick, and then you won't be or feel beautiful. Your body needs fuel to survive, to live. To be pretty, you need to be healthy.

I hate to tell you there is no "cool" factor about having this. It is something we need help to fight like cancer, some of us don't want help. Some are forced to get help. Others get help on their own. I personal have been fighting this for years. I have been doing good now for almost 2 years. Look into it you will see people don't just "GET" Ana. I has a lot to do with control.

Only you can choose when to stop and when not too. If there is some part of you that does not want to stop, then you must learn to deal with it on your own. Sure there are always people there to help you, but only you have the power to say no. Yes control is a big part of it and also what society/you think of how you should be.
