You could just assume the universe has always existed and that galaxies were formed by the big bang. Our universe has always, and will always be here, the only thing we know that could not have been here are galaxies, nebulas, etc.

This is retarded. The Big Bang never happened. No it didn't happen on earth. No we are not at the center of the Universe. Scientists like to believe that Galaxies end 13 billions years in every direction relative to where Earth is now. This is not true as proved by Hubble's deep space field where hundreds of galaxies were spotted beyond the 13 billion year mark. The Big Bang is Religious propaganda that violates major Laws of Physics. It is not Science!

I claimed that the Big Bang is impossible & it is. It never happened. You want proof then look the Second Law of Thermal Dynamics. There is nothing that violates that law in a larger way then the Big Bang.

Actually, the universe is expanding. It's only finite in the sense that it has a finite volume at any given time. Read up on "heat death", the "big crunch" and the "big rip"

They are not saying we are the centre in in a geographic sense. It is about centralizing our self in terms of relating to the universe at large, instead of taking a pessamistic outlook. It is about changing our view of ourselves as human beings as our fundamental understanding of the universe grows and we must relate to it in an intimate and meaningfull manner if we wish to have a future.

Well on one side they say the Big Bang is not an explosion but an expansion, so it's as u pump up a space, no need of a centre.

But then they also need it to be an explosion, when they speak of different velocities.

I think the Big Bang is bugged, we need better theories. In the meantime, the Big Bang explanation is a belief act as believing in God.
