yeah it is his shadow.....now we can all agree on that one. How the rumor started about it being a camera man is ridiculous....most of Les's shots are done using the waist mounted camera arm....here in this episode you can see the shadow of that very mount. This is NOT MVW.
He says in this very same episode that the safety crew camp is a few hours walk from his location. You think they'd walk there if Les was in trouble? =p
ok ok, just asking - being British Im more familiar with Grylls ... Now I know, respect to Survivour man ...
(but I bet S.Man got radio access to emergency services .. - plus can he eat a live frog and live snake and eat the remains of a deer from a kill from lions and live inside a dead camel and drink dung juice and and his own piss?!!!!)...
you need to undwerstand....gryles is a fake there fore EV EVERYTHING he does is now suspect.
He is supposed to be surviving then is photographed in a holiday inn....plus some guy dressed in a bear costume pretending to be a bear.........how real is that i ask you....credibility ZERO....
Gryles has a great craft service table...where all the treats and food items sit at hand ...behind the camera of course: just waiting for his sorry as to pick them up and wash down that nasty piece of shit he just ate on camera.
Possibly, as crew are behind camera. But the point still remains - Bear Grylls SHOWS YOU HOW TO SURVIVE in an emergency whether in a dry desert of dense jungle etc
Maybe ....but HE DOE NOT SURVIVE....HE IS AN ACTOR...PRETENDING TO SURVIVE.....that is just bad tv because they try to make you think it's real. Shame on them. There is only one Survivorman....and it's ALL REAL. Cheers
Of course when you have a full camera crew and get to stay in hotel rooms -with room service instead of the in the wild..... Anybody would be cheerful -all of the time.
Bear from Man vs. Wild doesn't stay out in the wild for a week. He goes into the wild with a camera crew and films a few stunts and leaves. Big difference.
There was a guy dressed in a bear costume playing the role of a real bear that the host assumed to spot in the dark one night while "camping out"..... the farce of the show is incredible ..... other wise it could be good.....however it isn't.
That's funny. He also gives a lot of terrible advise. Like making a raft and riding rapids instead of following the river down. Or he once took a route down a steep waterfall cliff edge instead of going down the longer safer way. I'm pretty sure he either used rope or didn't go down at all, because they edited it and you see him beginning to climb down, and the next shot he is just reaching the bottom and it looks absolutely staged.. just like when he wakes up in the morning from "camping out"..
yes, made by the camera crew. And then he goes one and almost dies, getting his knees smashed by rocks and almost drowning. Great survival advice. You said it, he's a good stunt man.. it ends there.
at the beginning of the theme song it sounds like someone whispering "tickle tickle tickle....oh tickle tickle tickle tickle tickle....."

It's just a show. When it's about real surviving all you can think of is conserving your energy, not holding a camera or making comments.
RedSky003 3 years ago
This is real survival....maybe you can't do what Les does with camera in tow....but make no mistake that he does it very well.
smasheditorial 3 years ago
Yeah.. i saw it too.. There's definitely someone else there with him.
Which is odd.. I assumed he was always solo. :/
Oh well, he's still more bad ass than Bear Grylls.

Where do you get your hallucinogenic drugs from? They work very well.

He's holding the camera on top of a tripod.

Been reading the posts - WHY IS EVERYONE DISSING BEAR GRYLLS?
BoyBangla 3 years ago
Because he is a fake and a fool.

Does survivourman have a camera crew?
BoyBangla 3 years ago
NO.....Never has ..never will.
That's what gryles does......Survivorman is real.....i would know.
smasheditorial 3 years ago
Bet he has a radio somewhere for emergency services ...
S.Man is still excellent as he would not have immediate help in an emergency - he would need to radio in help which may take 15- 20 mins ...
BoyBangla 3 years ago
It would take hours......at the minimum.

It was in a news story complete w/photographs.
Also confirmed within the biz by a crew member.

Man vs Wild however... He is more cheerful at times but he does have a camera crew!

The raft was made FOR him NOT by him. BEAR is a fairly decent stunt man ..... it ends there.

and he always eats something extreme out off all things to eat.. like an eyeball from a camel instead of the meat itself.. its totally scripted.
