  • I REALLY LOVE YOUR VIDEOS . I LOVE HOW YOUR SO EXCITED TO GROW NOT TO MANY FEMALES LIKE YOU .

  • Your tomatoes look great. I'm sooooo jealous. I have some cherries that are starting to turn red, but the hanging tomatoes are doing nothing. Do you think the variety makes a difference in the topsy turvy?

  • @CynergyDiva -- I think it does, I used Early Girl, thats a longer vine tomato, but they want you to use the short (determinate) bush tomatoes, like Ace or anything Dwarf, so it doesn't grow all over the ground. I just used some green yarn to gently tie them to the ring at the top of my Topsy bag. Seems to work ok.

  • Your brandywine will take a long time then you will see plenty of "large" tomatoes. Mine are doing great so next year I'll plant more. Your garden looks great!

  • @rztexas -- Thanks, I was worried abotu the brandywines because I hear so many horror storeies abotu how people just can't get them to set fruit in pots, but now my one plant has like 6 baby tomatoes forming, and just as many more flowers.

  • Nice crops! I like your pruning too. Good Job. Have you ever tried freezing them?

  • @Newell8 -- freezing tomatoes? I have, in past years, I've just frozen them whole. Theyr'e actually very easy to stew after htey are thawed.

  • Lookin lovely. I just noticed tonite that one of my tom plants had a red one on. Picked and ate in less than a min lol. I think it should have been bigger tho as seeds were tiny and green inside. Tasted lovely if a bit zappy cos of the stuff inside. Tho i think tigerella are supose to taste a bit zappy but ah well. Got tones of flowers and toms on now. Anyhow very nice vid lovely plants. Bet ur well pleased. ;)

  • @SkeeterUK -- You bet! jsut can't wait to see hwo these all develop.

  • Lookin' great!!!!

  • The best container grown plants that I have seen. In Missouri its just to hot.

  • @rockwithface -- awww thanks! :) I admit, I've been fairly lucky in regards to heat, usually it gets to around 100 degrees in my city in the summer, in fact its a city requirement that homes and apartments here MUST have built air conditioners before they can be sold or rented, lol. But its barely been gettin to 75-80 degrees here in the daytime... Kinda creepy really. But gentle on my plants.

  • Girl....Have you ever eaten fried green tomatoes? I think you may have enough to try all sorts of tomato recipes. It's all coming together now. Good luck.

  • @justkarmatoo -- Those are great! Dipped in batter or ust corn meal, and fried up a bit... Yum! :)

  • plants are looking really great.....keep it up

  • @TheUrbanOutdoors -- Thank you :)

  • growing nicely and looks delicious!

  • @BubbleBeet -- Thanks I can't wait to be able to bite into one of them, especially one of those brandywines! :)

  • @GardenCalifornia

Hehe ull have trouble cos they grow massive dont they. I think i might try for some nice heirlooms next year like black russian and brandywine. Some utube vids show lots of weird and wonderfull toms.

  • I know, I finally have yellow flowers on each of my tomato plants. My cherry tomatoes are taking off, lots of baby tomatoes. Have you heard of Tiny Tim Cherry Tomato plants. I have three in the garden, they are really cute. They are a true dwarf tomato plant that only gets 18 inches in height, but they will grow wide, so give them a big pot and space. Well I'm really surprised by them. They are producing a ton of cherry tomatoes, cannot wait for them to get red.

  • @rayme4raw -- Oh yeah, I really want one of those!
