@cjay665 Idk that I would say that. Just my opinion. I like At the Gates and have a serious respect for them but I prefer a few other melodic death metal bands over them as far as this compared to older Inflames there both really awesome. This just isn't as known which kinda gives it that cool factor.

Granted, At The Gates isn't my favorite Gothenburg band. As far as the "big" bands are concerned, I prefer Dark Tranquility.

I just don't like many melodic death metal bands, like almost every modern one sounds way to melodic and way to less death metal. But if you dig oldschool melodic death metal, check out Detonations Debut album.

They are a band from my country and they make their music just like swedish do, I say that album is one of the best the genre has to offer. You should give it a try when you have the time.
