I have a savage.used to b a 25 but now I've modified it to the xl frame diffs and upgraded to a surefire 32 with a three speed tranny and high speed 3rd gear.60 mph plus!!!

some advice, i am on the brink of buying an R/C the HPI XL looks like the one, then i saw a write up of the Team Associates MGT 8.0, and i am torn !! can you or any one give me the definitive on these two very capable machines. any comments would be apreciative. UK based R/C freak. thnx

top speedwise they r almost the same stock durablility is close but have to be mgt wheely power almost the same

this car looks better off road, if you want speed get a schumacher menace 21. I got one and they go fast, very fast. 3.5 cc and three gears they go 70mph! a hell of a lot faster than that check my channel i am gonna make a vid with my mates (hpi fairestorm and a hotbodies lightening stadium) by the way please agnore the stupid line rider vids lol =]

then it equalizes to XL.

if u tune the transmission so that both gears engage later then you will get a higher top speed.
