I found something you can' make in a solar oven...meringues. They become waterloged and gummy and lose their volume. Baking, in general is iffy. I think the best answer is that you can cook anything in a solar oven that you can cook in a crockpot, aka slow cooker, if you are talking about an enclosed hot box or panel cooker with a turkey bag. Parabolics and Fresnel lenses also allow you to fry, but baking would also be problematic with those too. Baking requires dry heat over, above, and around.
