If you read writings of Richard Burton (I'm not a huge fan of his) and Samuel Baker, they give firsthand accounts of African tribal slavery, PLUS the slave trade in Africa. OK... I can give many examples of these misinterpretations...but take some of the simple ones. They claim that the "Ankh" is from the occult. That is simply not true. This ancient symbol means "eternal life" and came from spiritual teachings...not the devil or witchcraft. The origins of the Bible are in Africa-- not Europe.
