  • Does 2 grains cycle the action on semi autos?

  • @freeze427 Nope. Not enough mass or pressure.

  • Your metal needle is possessed.

  • Years ago there was ammo similar to this that was marketed as " Thunder Zap " . It had an ly high muzzle velocity at close range ( if memory serves a 2" bbl .38 special yielded around 2800 fps ) they were promoted as self defense rounds, because of the fact that would only travel about 30 yards and then drop to the ground. Massive tissue damage at close range because of the velocity, but due to it's makeup would not penetrate the human body. I believe Air Marshall's carry something similar now !

  • 6:35 WHOA WHAT THE FUCK??

  • A string of hot glue is stuck to it and his hand

  • Do you make ammunition for orders?? If so send me a PM, I don't have the tools to do the job, and I've always been alittle scared to try and do hand loading. I've got a strange caliber I'm looking to have made up.

  • @Chris090883 No. I need a special license that is too cost prohibitive. So I show everyone how to make the best ammo available.

  • could you do this in an ar15 with its respective bullet mold of course?

  • @joeratti I tried but the bullets are too long and not enough velocity to stabilize them. I use a 22 cal airgun pellet.

  • My brother made something like this for his colt-45. We shot 5 of them at paper targets at the range. The range operator freaked out, thought we had a misfire. :)

  • I find that I dont need bullet lube at all and thats working in a 9mm with CCI small pistol primers and 2 grains of red dot

  • i wonder if just carbon from a match, or a lighter would help wit hthe release of the bullets>?

  • "Why buy 'em when you can make 'em?"

Awesome! I love watching people do things for themselves!

  • with a light load can this be use as a less lethal option

  • @bob8999999 Uhhh...you could but then you might still get sued.

  • You know it'll be much easier if you just melt wax and cast it.

  • @aznmeowmeow Yes but the wax melts and they aren't reusable like the glue stick.

  • you could even place a copper bb in the mold before you put the glue in it right? just an idea

  • @peaveyamp38 You could but gettIng it centered is tricky.

  • @peaveyamp38 you forgot ballistic reaction of the core, A 22. can not stay centred in a 45 mold

  • When shooting with primer only (no powder) can they be shot more then once?

  • @kosmodrone Yes. The don't deform harg at all.

  • @ammosmith Got a six-cavity Lee mold and have made my first .357 glue stick bullets. It works! I will probably need to practice to make consistent bullets. It will be nice to be able to practice close range shooting without having to need to drive to a range. I found I need to oil the bullet mold at least every other time molding the glue stick bullets or they begin to stick.

  • @6:37 WTF is moving your 'sharp object' ???

  • @lucserre A thin...very thin thread of glue...looks strange.

  • @lucserre lmfao i was just woundering the same thing!!!

  • @lucserre It is just the stringy bits of hot glue left by the glue gun.

  • @lucserre glue gun drool makes tiny strings.. lmao. nice comment

  • @lucserre He has some sort of magnetic tool in his hands that is moving it lol.

  • @lucserre I was WTF?!?!? at first too. The mold being steel must have god pretty magnetic.

  • @lucserre it looks like something magnetic in the die was attracting it

  • @lucserre the pliers are magnetic

  • @lucserre I think something magnetic :P

  • I dont cast glue sticks I just buy a certain diameter, and it fits in my 7.62x54R casings. I did four today, but the corrosive ammo is very dirty!

  • These things are awesome. So glad I found this. I ended up using a 357 wadcutter mold for 9mm luger bullets, but it works great. Also, if you lube the bottom of the sprue plate with lithium grease it makes them cut smoother.

Also, just wanted to re-state, seat the bullet then prime. otherwise they will shoot out of the empty case on their own. (You put it in your other vid, but not this one.)

Also, what do you think about setting this up in a rifle? How would you go about doing that?

  • Can I shoot my kids with them when they misbehave?

  • @uxcitme No!!!

  • @ammosmith

By No do you mean Yes?

  • Comment removed

  • i would think u could dunk that thing in ice water and cool them down alot faster

  • @bobwatters I use a 6 cavity gang mold now. Once you get going you can make a couple hundred of them and sell them to your friends.

  • @ammosmith sounds good but i still think u could dunk it and make the process even faster but idk never tried it so maybe it would cause other problems

  • @bobwatters I put the thing in my chest freezer. Water can rust the sprue plate.

  • @ammosmith yea rust was that other problem i was talkin about

  • Any reason you can't make a pumpkin ball for blackpowder? Patch would protect it when fired. Just now mass for distance.

  • ok thanks great videos

  • @stpensaw86 No...thank you for watching them!

  • dose it smeel when u shoot it? or burn?

  • @stpensaw86 Neither. They are reusable

  • Did anyone not just see that pen moving by itself at 6:35 ?

  • @kiddycorn3 A fine thread of glue got on it. The pen wasn't possessed.

  • @kiddycorn3 i thought it was a magnet

  • @bananapeel72 me too, i put them along the edge of my bench (less crawling around looking for screws;)

  • I guess my question is: can I use glue stick bullets to SAFELY power down my CVA Buckhorn to take Ground Hogs at close range? Can I use 25 grains instead of the usual 100 or 150 gr. charge? I want to shoot groundhogs at 100 feet range. I am thinking these might be safer than 295 gr. powerbelt bullets that I usually shoot as I don't want it to cross the railroad tracks that are 300 feet away. If I cast the powerbelt bullet, what could I use to make the seal?

  • @UnknownTraveler1 No. I would use a lead bullet with a reduces load.

  • @ammosmith Thank you so much for your reply. I know very little about ballistics. What is your opinion on this. What if I were to cast a bullet out of hard wax and then drill out a center chamber that willhold 4 BB's. Seal it with wax. Now I have a wax projectile with a metalic core. Do you think it could be accurate enough and have enough penetration to kill a ground Hog? I realize experimentation carries with it risk. Would you ever try this ... or is it suicide? Have a save 4th!!!

  • @UnknownTraveler1 Ground hog...I think the glue stick would it.

  • how come the bullet doesnt melt in the barrel? and is this possible for a .22 calibre round?

  • @LandCruiserification It's harder than wax and has a higher melting point. With Crisco or white lithium grease in the grease grooves it lubricates itself going down the bore.

  • @ammosmith thnx dude tht cleared up alot

  • 6:35 sec, the pointed metal object strangely move by itself.

    logic explenation anyone?

  • @frozenar A tiny thread of glue was attached to the bullet...like pizza cheese.

  • i rolled up a 1/2" wide peice of duct tape, at a slight angle so it was bullet shaped, stuck it in my 44 magnum with only 6 grains of unique, and shot it in my cellar at an old handheld toolbox. it went through the box, though a 1/2" plywood wall and dented a 55 gal drum behind it. i was shocked.

  • do you have some load data, for Hodgdon titegroup in 45acp 9mmluger and 40sw casings, using glue bullets, and what OAL seating depth do you recommend with powder.

and is it possible to crimp the bullets so you can feed them by magazine?.

  • kool

  • Why not mount the Mould on a vice?

  • You can but if you apply too much pressure the mold can warp.

  • You can get around that by placing blocks on each side of the mould..

  • True. I find that a good rubber band works good too. The six cavity mole is best. I have had people ask me to make them for sale. Still thinking about it.

  • doesn't it melt in the barrel?

  • No. It leaves very quickly and is down range. If it did leave any residue (none in my testing) it will come out with a patch.

  • can i use a regular small pistol primer to do this with a .40s&w

  • Yes...it will be just a little slower. Use a small rifle magnum primer for best results.

  • Couldn't you just inject the glue directly into the cartridge case?

(assuming you don't care about the blunt shape)

  • It wouldn't be as accurate.

  • @ammosmith I had a feeling...

  • what happens when you shoot a human

  • You go to jail.

  • no i mean what damage does glue bullets do to a human body

  • It will go about an inch deep with just a primer and lethal if any propellant is used to boost velocity.

  • nice response ^^

  • Vaseline makes great lube

  • I'm not going there.

  • Comment removed

  • I'm not going to touch that with a 10 foot pole.

  • i did the exact same thing as you but i took a 1/4 drill bit and made hollow points so thanks for the video

  • Just a tip for you. You can use a small spray bottle with either isopropyl alcohol or denatured alcohol to get the glue off. It will help immensely trust me.

  • what is the music?

  • Royalty free stuff and generated music from sony vegas

  • if you coat them with copper paste and let them dry they will look like full metal jacket bullets. thanks, now it will be cheaper to shoot!

  • really good for close range practice on a steel plate

  • 6:35 - 6:40 you got ghosts in ur house!!!

  • i shit myself! lol

  • whoa that is odd what could have moved that!

  • There was a tiny thread of glue that got out of hand...no witchcraft I promise.

  • ok just checking looked like a ghost having fun. Im gonna subscribe to you like your videos.

  • dose the 2 grains of bullseye have enough power to eject the round?

  • yes indeed, dont want to kill the little bastard, just make sure it knows that there is something in that yard that bites

  • Great idea! I used to just push the casing into a soft brick of wax, but they would fall apart if you used even a little bit of powder, and it made a waxy mess out of the barell. Can't wait to introduce these glue bullets to my neighbors pain in the ass dog next time it pops a squat in my yard!

  • HA HA! On the dog! Use a wadcutter so it doesn't go in!

  • are you going to show how to seat them...and maby a test fire

  • Yes. I am developing our 2nd DVD at the moment so I hope to have something in the next week or two. I'll show how to load them with just a primer and one with the Bullseye loading of 2.0grs.

  • No. not enough force or heat to do so.

  • wouldnt the glue melt some or all in the bbl of the gun an mess up ur shot ?

  • do you need a press to seat these bullets? can it be done by hand since the material is flexible? i'd like to see how the rest of the reloading works if its different from a regular reload and also how it fires. nice vid.

  • You can do it by hand.

  • cool. im gonna give it a try. have you try shooting these in semi auto pistols or just revolvers only?

  • Both. They won't cycle a auto loader. They are great in revolvers.

  • too freakin' cool man. great video

  • 6:35 - 6:40 Is your pick magnetized or do you have magnets around it? It seems to move/spin by itself.

    Nice vid BTW

  • NO! HA HA! It had a thread of glue stuck to it. I burnt the shit out of my finger too. I didn't let out a "Owe fuck" on camera though.

  • will this work with any bullet or 45 acp only? and so you really have to do all that stuff with the primer pocket or can you just reprime a regular case and shoot?

  • Any bullet. Rifle not really. Bullet is too long and won't stabilize. I've done this with 9mm, 38, 10mm and 45 ACP. Use a magnum pistol primer. No modification is needed but it helps. Components are hard to get today so an unmodified case is preferable.

  • Very neat. How hard is it to clean the glue out of your barrel afterwards?

  • Solvent and a brush. It's easier to clean this than to get lead out.

  • Thanks..this gives you flexibility. I will do a range test with the chronograph too.

  • kool 5*****
