well my piercer opened my ring wider... and now i can't close it again... tried with pliers to close it abit so i could get the ball in but it slipped and i am friggin bleading -.-' the ball can just pass right through the ring!

I've had my closure balls in for three years and never could seem to undone them, but today i got some scissors and stuck them between my ring and opened them, it took like 1 min and it was off:} Try it, it's easy!

It looks like it's very complicated to change this type of body jewelry. Just like with regular body jewelry you can drop and lose the little ball/gemstone. You should try TummyToys belly rings. They are completely different and so easy to change! Just slide it through and snap it shut just like a regular earring. You'll love them! this ball ring is a pain in the ass. Who's the knuckle head who designed this one? I thought mine was a screw on, so i kept screwing and screwing, thinking i was loosening it. I figured it out by accident really. Putting the ball back on is a bitch for my lower lip. I guess it'll take some practice. Guess i'll go back to tryin to put this thing back in again.

Some good advice:

If you can't get the ball in/out of the ring, go see your local piercing studio and I'm sure they will be happy to help you, they did with mine and it was free too!

I place a pair of sterile tweezers into the ring and then open them up enought to take the pressure off the ball, it's really easy to take it in and out this way. I remove my cbr in my lip this way

What about when it's in a piercing that is hard to hold the ring in? The best thing to do is to get a pair of ring openers and ring closers

it's easier with 1.6*12+mm rings but 1.6*10mm and smaller is a pain in the ass =[ I'm still having problems with it and I've had my lip done for nearly 2 years

I have 8g titanium cbr's for my ears.  I'm figuring that I'm going to have to get ring opening pliars. Is titanium harder to deal with in general or is it just the fact that it's a larger gauge? Should I plan ahead and get ring closing pliars too?

probably both! As long as you use the openers right you shouldn't need closers though.

Just use some 'gentle persuading' to pull the ring out far enough to get a good grip on it!
