You're right. I've never seen a footage like this from a american tornado.

The best footages are made of european tornadoes, like the polish tornado outbreak in august 2008

Because people in there are not used to such phenomena - instead of conditioned fear, they experience amazement and awe, and keep filming until pretty much the end.

We in Europe don't see the danger of those things as you in the US. People in the US see those things often and we in Europe maybe once a year, so if there's one we film it without realizing how dangerous those things are...

was fürn schmarn.. die gabs da schon weit vor unserer zeit... genauso wie in deutschland jedes jahr 50 tornados durchziehen... völlig "normal" ausser dass sie für ein einzelnes gebiet halt ziemlich rar sind.

In russland in der nähe von moskau können die dinger nicht entstehen! Das ist flachland! Ok normaleweise nicht... Moskau ist zu weit weg von großen wasserqäulen entfernt und das ist nicht normal dass es dort zu solche tornados kommt! In deutschland kann es vorkommen. Ich sag nur Nordsee, Ostsee usw. Da gibt es "nahrung" für solche stürme. Aber in der nähe von moskau auf gar kein fall!

Es handelt sich hier um Tornados, diese entstehen aus Gewitterzellen heraus.

Diese sind mitnichten abhängig von der Nähe zu irgendwelchen Wasserquellen.

Du verwechselst das mit Hurricanes denke ich ...

tornados können sich überall auf der erde entwickeln.. ausgenommen die pole wahrscheinlich (luft zu trocken)..

flachland ist sehr wichtig für solche tornados damit die verschiedenen luftmassen nicht abgegrenzt werden. ausserdem ist meer nicht so wichtig. klar bringt das meer mehr feuchte luft ins land aber das ist nicht ausschlaggebend. wichtig ist eigentlich nur ausreichende windscherung und genügend labile luft. bums gibts tornados.

It is not EF3, in Europe we made up the European wind-damage to speed scale, regarding OUR way to build things, and our kind of forests - fitting to the OLD F-scale speeds (and to the Torro Scale) So not EF but F (or better T. And it is not completely clear if T6 (lower end F3) is true...
