i have to give you kudos for a good paint job with it assembled i found it much easier to do with the arms off, i'm trying to make my models at least look nice while i'm busy getting my ass kicked lol and when my ork army is built up and finished i want them to lok good while they get pummeled by the heavy number of chaos players in my area, hey if anyone lives near peoria il. i'm always looking for a gaming crew to hang out with every now and then.

@masterowen45 what do you mean here werent any washes released in 2008 i started hobbying in 07 ans there were plenty of washes

@steeltoester they were inks not washes- they were much thicker and wouldn't work as well as washes do.

not alot because i only just started 40k about 2 months ago becuse i changed from normal warhammer where i did paint orcs so do u think i should kinda carry on the tradition or orc/orks

Mate, dont think you need to 'change' army. I had this problem when I started and would only stick to one army and i wouldnt get into another as well because i thought I wouldn't pay attention to both armies and would've 'wasted' my money.

But seriously dude, just get into both army at the same time if you still like SM anyway. Like right now, I have Tau and Orks, and will be hopefully selling my Space Marines soon.

yeah imo if ya want a good starter paint set, for many jobs, other than extreme golden demons, just buy the matallics, the varnishes (pot, not spray) and the foundations. By all means though get the other paints if ya wish, I was just advising.
