Elephant Shell isnt really their first album, per se. they released a few EPs and b sides earlier (and in my opinion, count as an album). Elephant Shell is their first LP, and may be considered their debut album. i think they gained prominence because of elephant shell. i personally like A Lesson in Crime better, but Elephant shell isnt bad
