  • @djoutrage18 hey if you were still looking for some berigan.. and u wanted to pay for them, itunes has plenty for you.. a good 7 different albums. but im sure youd be able to download them for free somewhere.. i used something called "soulseek" its a pretty good source if u want complete albums

  • What a great song - there is even a cartoon from the 30's called "Small Fry" and it is on YouTube, with this song as the backdrop.

    When I was a child I used to sing this song ...and I thought that it was Harry James playing the trumpet!!!

    ...It wasn't untill some years later that I discovered it was Bunny Berigan...:-o

  • You're welcome, 'trooper'- the "Devil's Holiday" CD consists of the sides Berigan recorded for "Thesaurus" in the summer of '38...

  • That's Ruth Gaylor, who was briefly Bunny's vocalist with his band at the time, 'trooper'. This was originally recorded for the "NBC Thesaurus" service of transcribed music for local stations' use {in 15 minute blocks}, on August 9, 1938...
