That's Ruth Gaylor, who was briefly Bunny's vocalist with his band at the time, 'trooper'. This was originally recorded for the "NBC Thesaurus" service of transcribed music for local stations' use {in 15 minute blocks}, on August 9, 1938...

When I was a child I used to sing this song ...and I thought that it was Harry James playing the trumpet!!!
...It wasn't untill some years later that I discovered it was Bunny Berigan...:-o

You're welcome, 'trooper'- the "Devil's Holiday" CD consists of the sides Berigan recorded for "Thesaurus" in the summer of '38...
