  • I expected some Tengen version Tetris songs.

What I got is an Nintendo version. hmm.

  • sounds like that lightning has gas

  • i wanted korobeiniki D:

  • I'm surprised they incorporated the grace notes.

  • Tchaikovsky got PWNED by Nicola Tesla XDD

  • thats weird that they used "Dance of the sugar plum fairy" on tetris...oh well.

  • @Ingodspantswetrust Well it's not the only game with similar classical type music or themes, alot of these guys, basically the first generation game developers, weren't gamers themselves like today, they invented the genre, so these guys were highly educated academic intellectuals who got into computers as a hobby and made a career out of it. So in those days they all had a classical education, so it makes sense in that way why they would use sources like that for these games, and still do :)

  • Sounds like too many people are used to the game boy Tetris. Whats up with that? :-/

  • @Grungeanddeath Yeah no kidding, oh well Lol

  • the very first tetris song that've could be found on the nes version.

  • what is this? track B or something? we want track A!

  • @bendy660 no its i think track 1 on the nes version not the gameboy so its the tetris theme of another console

  • kind sounds like something that could be out of an old wario game.

  • BRIND DA THUNDA!...sorry , I had to. pajitov told me to

  • Yay! Classical Music (from Tchaikovsky - The Nutcracker) on the coils!

  • idiiots its is a tetris song it is the tetris song from the first tetris game but,it is not the 1989 song that we all love if u want iit go to tetris bonibas tesla

  • This is "a" tetris song, but not "THE" tetris song.

  • @corygunso it is the "c" song

  • by a, i meant "an" not as in "A"

  • This is not the good version of Tetris. It sounds like the sugar plum ferry but according to others this is some older version of tetris. Either way it fails!

  • This is dance of the sugar plum fairy -_-

  • Yeah, I remember, I still have my old copy so this is pretty close.

  • TRUE tetris fans know that this is the original tetris theme. korobeiniski (sp?) is a russian folk song that was played in tetris as well, but after this. oldfags unite!

  • itsis tertris but not the 1989 song

  • NOT TETRIS!!!

  • yes it is

  • i know you are right but it's still the tetris theme to me :P

  • this is dance of the sugar plum fairy lol

  • Yeah If you listen to the original Tetris Song, they sound about the same. Since the Dance of The Sugar Plum Fairy was Russian, and the guy who made Tetris was Russian, you do the math :)

  • lol i guess but dance of the sugar plum fairy came first so i'd rather say this video is dance of the sugar plum fairy

  • this is the first song for tetris on the nes

  • he he, right.

And for those wanting to know the origin of the music, it was the "Dance of the sugar plum fairy" from "The Nutcracker" written by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky in 1891-92

  • it was one of the selectable songs in Tetris for the NES the "Tetris Tune" is actualy a Russian folk song

  • @xstrikezerox it was in the nintendo nes version so it is one of themes just not ameboy tetris a
