I wish I had been around when your band started so I would have seen you and the rest of Girlschool live and also had gotten your autograph and my picture taken with you
@Hypocamparis Kelly Johnson had spine cancer which sadly she didn't recover. She wasn't that old ether. She was born on 20th June 1956 and she passed away on 15th July 2007 so she must have been 51 when she died.
I got to see GS all the way back in '84, unfortunately I had to leave the show early. They're coming to town next week with Diamond Head for a NWOBHM show.
super chanson (ma préféré de girlschool) super hommage!!! on t'oublie pas Kelly t'etait la meilleur. she was a one! a legend forever! un fan de france. reste en paix!
Nice...Very nice.....I had not seen this one, I'll have to slap this on my playlist......I saw them in 1982 in San Francisco...Kelly was on fire that night...I didn't realize until many years later that for 1982...I saw the best Female guitarist on the Planet along with the fantastic band......Thanks for the post..........El Fat Boy Texcino....................PS.....RE: member info shows you as "Pro Drunk".......I am a retired Pro Drunk myself.......Cheers
Words sometimes can't describe what a miss people are when they are gone but Kelly was one of those people that leave us with so many happy memories and legend is exactly the right word, the footage from The Garage sums it all up.

I saw them with Kelly and Cris Bonacci. I met Cris offstage and as nice of a person
she was, Kelly had "IT" onstage. Charisma and playing ability. You're missed in
this place Kelly. May she Rest In Peace.
