Looks just like the one my parents had when I was a kid. Dad took me on a road trip through California. It of course stalled somewhere along the way and required a push and some quick work. Later he painted it red. Then Mom rolled it and broke my arm. That was the end of it. I get mixed feelings when I see one.
@maddabe I'd agree based on my dislike for MGB's but I do like the Austin Sprite that was the basis for the Midget. Then there's the beautiful MGA ... it's too much of a figurative boot in the door for me to dislike the Octagon in any general sense. Let's not be too myopic - compared to driving a lumbering SUV the guy in the MGB is an automotive god ...
@nazcaplain MG has a wonderful history, they built some great sportscars. Let's remember anyone with an LBC no matter what the marque is more alike than someone with a muscle car. Disclaimer: I own a Triumph TR4A, a Jaguar, and I've got an MGB I'm selling. MG's and Triumphs complement each other more than compete with each other...it's 40 years later...let's keep 'em on the road and forget the bickering! (not that you were)
@classicjagxk6 Absolutely, I respect the Octagon - but it's still fun harassing our pals in MG's as it has become a tradition over the last century to do so. After all, when the Brit car industry was nationalized and Triumphs had MG engines stuffed in them it became nearly impossible to seriously malign one marquee over another. Cheers, mate.

The fucking nerve! Drive a Triumph with a Goddamn Healy emblem on his helmet.

@maddabe Mike worships at the altar of both Austin Healey and Triumph. Thus ensuring his entry into heaven ...

@nazcaplain At least it wasn't an MG badge.
