  • Is it just me or dogs dog breeding seem like it hurts the female...I mean every time I breed my dogs (shows rotties) It seems like it does hurt or something especially when they get stuck. Basically putting it in human turns just how fast the male goes seems to cause the female pain and then getting stuck seems to hurt the male. I don't know this is just my own opinion...

  • Mine have never acted like they were in pain while mating, before, during or after. I've seen several other dog mating videos and often then it does seem like one or both is in pain or at least stressed, but I've not seen another video where dogs were allowed to do it on their own with only distant supervision in case something goes wrong.

  • Instead there are always having people around trying to "help" the entire process, holding both dogs' collars or with them on leashes, in kennels, people trying to decide the exact position the dogs should be in, freaking out if they get turned back to back, excess people standing around watching, talking, laughing, etc. which mostly seems to stress and interfere with the dogs.

  • Then I see females trying to get away while the male is still stuck if they don't try to resist the entire thing from the beginning, and the male yelping, people yelling at the dogs to stay and all sorts of weird situations. I don't know the conditions under which you breed dogs, not accusing you of any of this.

  • Can you upload the foreplay video?

I would like to see that. ^^

  • @DogsneedpIeasuretoo Give me a few days to look through what I have, so many pics and videos of my dogs, and find a good "foreplay" video to upload. I also have a video showing how Mukki behaves when she's going out of season, will still flirt and sort of act like she wants to mate but then turn Koda down when he actually tries. Her first two seasons she's given him about 3.5 days of receptiveness each one, with a few matings each of those days.

  • Yes, my two rat/fox terriers were intact and lived for 17 years until they died recently. They were my children, and I miss them terribly. Good luck to you and thank you for the videos.
