red x could be jason todd though just because there is an age difference and ect. this teen titans is a different universe than the comics. It is just based on the characters, I mean terra and slade had sex in the comics, starfire wasnt so naive so they changed a lot. Its very possible that when robin left to protect jump city batman got his new robin jason todd, and we all know what happened to him and for some rreason red X/ jason todd chose to come to jump city as well.

a theory of who red x is. he has to be Jason Todd because he was killed by the joker and i 'm guessing was resurrected during the trigon story arc on the show not in the comics when Robyn said i thought you didn't like playing the hero red x responded doesn't mean i don't know how, and also too he and Robyn both were trained by batman and also fight the same

fact 1. jason todd became the secound robin after robin became nightwing and theres a age difference between them ( not big but jason todd is a lot younger then dick grayson)

fact 2: when jason todd was kill by the joker robin been nightwing for a long time now and wasn't even with the teen titan anymore so thats a big hole in your theory

states he wants people to know that Red X is a counterpart of Robin that shows the personality he regrets or has that he would deeply want to discard. One theory i heard was someone saying X is from the future as Robin because of what X says when he traps Starfire.

@theboywonder2010 The theory sounds convicing, up till the Trigon part, theres something that doesn't match. The episode "X" was in the third season and the Trigon arc wasn't till the 4th season. If the series is based chronically by passing seasons then the Trigon Resssurrecting Jason Todd doesn't make sense because Trigon hasn't come out the the human world just yet. I believe That Jason Todd could still be a possible match for Red X becuase this isn't really based on the comic series.

@theboywonder2010 That is impossible. 1. The robin here is Grayson. Jason Todd wasn't even around until Grayson was Nightwing. 2. Jason Todd is a tragic character most of the time and the cartoons shy away from him. Think outside the box for an idea about who he is. He should not be defined by a pre-existing character. He is his own character with his own identity and should remain as such. There is no need to peg him as Jason Todd. He is an individual and must remain anonymous and unique.

He's the only good villian the Titans have, bar Slade, Jinx, Fixit and Killer Moth. All the others are either interchageble punks (Rancid, Punk Rocket) interchangeble brutes (Plasmus, Cinderlock) or interchangble illusionists (Mod, Mumbo) who are rarley given any more deph than a few gimmicks and quirks.
