  • You gave me the idea... to try all 8 voices in 2 octaves at once... the result is... well... you decide. :-)

But hey, it's all in fun.

  • Good job! Props from Houston, Texas.

  • that c sharp in the end.. damn. got some steam behind it

  • audacity's noice removal will clean that sound up heaps.

  • do I hear an F overtone at the end there! Nice! Check mines out too! Its my first as well!

  • Thx :-) I had no idea about the F, but yes, it sounds like it's there. I'll check your version out right away.

  • All I'd say is work on the blend a little more. In your first tag, the Bass is hard to hear. Generally, the Bass should be loudest (for human hearing reasons), just shading the Lead, followed by the Baritone and then the Tenor should be reasonably quiet.

Personally, I liked the second recording, since I haven't heard that tag growled out so low before hahaha. Nice Bottom C#, btw!!

  • Hi again, Matt - thx for the feedback. Hehe, I thought all four parts should be equally loud in volume. Doh. I'm still a rookie (read: noob) at this multitracking business, so the hints are very useful. I'll turn up the bass in the future :)

  • Ooo, that was a nice rumble on the second one. I love a good low tag. Nice job.

  • Hehe, thanks Big-O. Btw, have you watched my video-response to "Till love comes my way"?

Looking forward to hear new tags from you :)

  • I also prefer the version with the original key and octave, and considering the fact that it's your first attempt, I'm rather impressed. But maybe you ought to buy or steal a better microphone ;-)
