Just listen to their In the Sign of Evil + Obssesed by Cruelty album. The Norweigan black metal evolved way later out of the early stuff like Venom and (early) Sodom.

I hate this band. I hate everything about them. I have not found a single good song by them. Their Vocals, Riffs and Drumming all suck. They are not even that heavy. Slayer, Metallica, Pantera, Lamb of God, Between the Buried and Me, The Agonist, and EVEN fucking Megadeth are way better. Same with Iron Maiden and Judas Priest. Even non-metal bands like The Mars Volta, and Red Hot Chilli Peppers have a way better sound than this shit. This is just garbage.

'Comeback records' usually suck, and these old bands usually go on tour and play mostly their classics with one or two tracks of new material mixed in, like they already know no one care...That's why I've avoided listening to this- I loved Venom back in th day.
