Good we need more air-marshals!!! The more the better!! I would put 10 of them on each god damm flight,Then I want to see them hijack another flight in the unites states! We lost innocent children on that day those motherfucken cowards, I just hope before I die i am able to somehow get those motherfuckers back,as many as i possibly can! Even 1 will be ok as long as I take 1 of theres like they took ours that day those son of a bitches!!!!
I think it's hilarious that they let a naturalized citizen become an air marshall, but it does make sense....I wonder how many middle eastern air marshalls there are?
@hunter69denys ummm... Andrew Joseph Stack III and a few just recently can't find the names but Air Marhalls have obviosly been doing there work. thats why you don't see it happpneing. One guy recently told the guy next to him he was angonn blow up the plane turned out the guy next to him was an air marshall... Do some reserch you will find it.
I just hope these air marshals understand that there's no room for "freeze, I'm a cop," when you have a situation. The terrorists themselves have their own air marhals who will counter any airmashal responding to an high-jacking.
02.14 secs.- Im suprised a U.S. Air Marshal would compromise his identity to deal with a drunken idiot such as this. The Israeli ethos is somewhat different.Maybe the U.S. A.M.'S work in larger teams? Also, the Marshals live firing in this scene appear to be in slow motion but i guess they could be in initial training.
@roaringwaterbay yes the a380 has a 10 step code only the cabin crew know as well to get into the cock pit, and a lockable rail with a stair way leading to the cockpit so noone can rush the cockpit when a crew member goes in to give the pilots food
From what I understand, anyone can apply but after Sept. 11th mostly cops or military were hired and now a college grad can apply. I have heard from friends who work as TSA screeners that they have been encouraged to apply.
I wouldnt want to join the TSA. Would you? I'm just saying I have two friends who are screeners (ugh) and they were told a while back that they should apply (from their superiors). I'd think a degree in Criminal Justice or time as a cop would be better experience to be a fam then checking peoples suitcases...
Well I was just wondering if you had to ALREADY be in the TSA to be a FAM. But I think prior LE experience would be better. Checking peoples' bags is not at all related to the job of a FAM so I don't see how that'd give you hands on experience. But I wouldn't join the TSA. If I could go straight to being a FAM, that's what I'd do.
scdefion, you're wayyyyyyyyy off on this one (especially the "spec ops" comment... Good agency with some good people but their management hasnt always been logical and supportive. Numerous videos here at Youtube show that clearly. I understand that the hiring standards are not as high as they used to be.
na they recruit soldiers, im not sure about the leo's but theres a ton of ex cops and military people who go through the training. being a role play with them doing what that guy was doing at 220 where u act like a disorderly i fun as hell tho
Way to go FAMS Management. You have again betrayed your country's security in exchange for a few moments of having you face plastered on the TV. You can get youtube from a laptop in a cave in Pakistan. Does it ever dawn on you that the bad guys might like to see how fams react to different levels of disturbance on flights. You fucking idiots just gave out the playbook....AGAIN! disgusting.
so now the terrorists know that if they try to hijack a plane in flight that it is very likely there is a team of highly trained and armed federal agents on board that can and will kill them before they complete their task?
The downside is that they know HOW the FAMs will try to kill them. In CQC, if you know what the other guy is going to do, you now have the advantage. Knowing that there are marshals on planes doesn't deter Omar. During some of the 80's hijackings, Hezbollah was asking flight crew if there were skymarshals on the plane, and searching manifests for any indication thereof. They assumed they would have armed opposition and still commited to hijack the plane. FAMs management traded OPSEC for press.
So you're telling me that theres at least one air marshal in business and first and economy classes? Because i think i was sitting next to one. He wasn't that hard to spot. One hint is that they don't sleep.
lol alot of poeple dont sleep and they even say they sleep alot cause they have teams on the plane so if something happened they would get woken up.. i mean its not good that they sleep but not much happens cept fights and stuff usually

What is good is that their guns are powerful enough to kill a man, but not to peice the skin an aircraft. So no worry about decompression :)

WTF !!! ?
When has ANY American terrorist EVER tried to take down an aircraft in America ? I think the vid discription needs revamping.

90% of what FAMS hires are experianced police officers many with college degree's.
Unless you have previous experiance in investigations and firearms training then you have a slim chance.

Soldiers are not recruited sadly. The TSA is trying to "hire from within"...

So you have to join the TSA and then from there go through FAM selection?
