Thus Intensely Personal People Can Gyrate To Her Beat and Weep Over Her Incredible Ourpourings that are -- intensely persional and autobiographical...
Extremely well crafted poetry and imagry hellp her depict, thus they serve her greatly---it flows...
Joni's guitar syle is just so natural and flowing. As she moved more into jazz figures and stuff though she lost her ability to write great melodies. Really, since Court and Spark she hasn't written tuneful or hummable melodies often at all. Most songs sound like paintings and not craft. That's not a major complaint, just an observation.
Met her in 1995 when she was doing the TV circuit for Turbulent Indigo. There were about 200 in the audience and she played beautifully for us. We talked after and someone snapped our pic together, but they never sent it to me!
When Led Zepplin writes a song about Joni ,,if I was her that is a award ,she told them that ,,she was humble then,i love her

Joni, an incredible talent from teen to sixties, and beyond we hope. Her aging voice is perfect.

She's seems to be so much more at ease in this unforced, wonderful setting, compared to her performances for a big audience.
Lovely, anyway, but especially when she reacts to the sound of a tram passing by in the background, at 1:50

This is so great! I saw somebody else had another video of this, but the quality was poor and the sound slightly distorted. Joni deserve's the best!

Just plain wonderful.
A true artist like Joni does not need fancy production. Here she is outside with one mike, all by herself.
Great. Absolutely great.
