When this track hits final production, or is in "Post-Production", I am sure it would sound slightly better. Even if it doesn't, a label looks more at the artist as a whole, their skills, writing abilities, etc, & not so much at how it was produced (when it landed on their desk).

Josie posted a "un-plugged" version of this amazing track (albeit the inclusion of a TC-Helicon VoiceLive 2 unit; I have one in my studio & well worth their asking price), as well as a Shure mic. I usually recommend artists to use Shure's SM58A mic (one of the best vocal mics on the market IMO for the asking price).

I agree; however keep this in mind, this is a sit & play (or as I call them: "Plug 'N' Plays). For that very fact alone this track is amazing.

If you want to nit-pick production quality, then there:: many spacial nuances, white & pink noise, in a few instances to much delay or pre-delay, too much chorus in a few areas & not enough in others, needs compression, EQ'ing, re-sampling, et al.

That's a really nice tune. I love the lead vocal and the harmonies but the guitar seemed a little harsh to my ears, and a bit too loud. I also think the guitar FX (chorus) was a bit overdone. It didn't seem to complement the intimacy and tenderness that your voice evokes. IMO, a voice like your demands that everything support it unless there's a reason for a contrasting tone. Your keyboard playing does that but the guitar strumming doesn't seem as effective in that way.
