This is so much better than what actually went in the musical. I was dying for an actual love song between the two of them. Almost every other Disney movie gets one.

They should had included this in the movie. It gives so much insight on how Ariel and Eric feel for each other. The audience actually witnesses the moment in which they fall in love, and really grows with them. without this there is definitely a big gap. Without it Ariel and Eric to many seem to be immature.

No this isn't Cheyenne Jackson. Usually Broadway shows go through multiple workshops as they develop the show and they usually re-cast as it goes through each incarnation. This demo was done in 2002 and Cheyenne did this only several years back.

It's too bad that she won't be playing Ariel, but I think she got an even better offer, to be in Xanadu. Sure, it was a horrible movie, but after seeing some of the rehersal for it, and several other things, it looks so good. Personally, I'm glad Kerry is in Xanadu, and I will make sure to go see it. It starts previews on Broadway soon....like May twenty something...Although, if she were Ariel, I still would go see her.

Thanks a bunch. This was one of the hard MVs to edit together because I love this song and movie so much. I wish that this Ariel was the one performing her onstage, but sadly that's show biz. If you want to hear more of her voice she's Penny in the Hairspray CD and Audrey in the new cast recording of Little Shop of Horrors. I'm pretty sure she's in Batboy also if you can find that CD also.

yay broadway! Interesting that you thought of putting those two together in that way. It was cool. I think the song's going to be going on when she first becomes human and spends her first night at Eric's house or something like that so you got the scenes as right as you could.
