Why the hell are you guys criticizing the Germans? Both actors grew up in Europe speaking German and Danish. "Hermann's" real last name is NEUHAUS.

I have spoken both English and German my entire life. The Germans don't sound "bad" at all. And who are any of you to say anyone looks "typical German?" Elliot's got blonde hair and blue eyes (a "typical Aryan") but is Canadian. The "typical american" is obese, as viewed by other countries.

It's hard to describe what that means, but they just.. do. While Elliot does have blond hair and blue eyes, she doesn't "look" German at all. It's nothing racist, judgmental or meant to be offensive, but something they do simply so the target audience can easily identify the characters.
