Anyone who thinks samurai armor is bullet proof is fucking retarded. A 9mm round would go through that easily. Ancient armor was horribly ineffective versus even ancient gunpowder weapons that used powder and shot, that's why it was abandoned in the first place in case you forgot.

It's just plain steel, the russian sn-42 armor was hardened 2mm steel and it could only stop a 9mm mp-40 round out past 125m, the samurais crap doesn't stand a chance.
