I fully agree with the statement about wanting to hate Timberlake, but being unable to. I hated NsYnC as much as the next man, but when it came down to acting...well...I was surprised. Timberlake can not only perform better in music when he's alone, but in film making he's pretty damn good.

When I saw it in theaters, it was me, and my wife and some other people, sometime later those people left the theater, and I should have gone with them. The movie was horrible. It went from theater to bargain pin faster then any movie I ever seen.

It's because they're also the hottest boobies in the industry after Angelina Jolies. Who is now really too far into MILF territory to keep that title.

Ditto on Jessica Alba. Her popularity feels forced upon us, and she simply looks a bitch. You heard me: Looks. A bitch. Even with intelligent reviews like this one, she really is the one reason I may take forever to watch "The Love Guru". Can't stand her. I'd rather watch "Cat in the Hat" again (Okay, that's not saying much...I'm one of the few who embraced how obnoxious that film was) than, say, "Sin City". Anyway, thanks again. Her presence just turns me way off. Not every hottie's attractive.

This is pretty much what I expected of The Guru, a brilliantly over the top, insane character put in a story that comes off as unnecessary and doesn't make any good use of him.

I did extra work in this. I'm in toronto and was at the ACC when the filmed. It was brutal and cold. They told us not to wear jackets cause it was supposed to be summer but it was febuary. Like us Canadians don't remember that hockey rinks are cold places and bring a jacket just incase. Most annoying production company to work with. But at least i got paid. After a leafs game this production company asked the fans to stay a while, hinting at some gift. none was given when the ended 4 hours later

I guess Mike Myers hasn't heard of Jerome Iginla. I don't blame him, he's only one of the three best forwards in the game. But I digress. I think I have a reason why you laughed at a lot of the jokes, Bob. If you laughed at them it's because you laughed at them when he used them in Austin Powers. I just wished he'd put the Guru in a movie that wasn't his crappy Maple Leafs Stanley Cup fantasy. But at least his team isn't the Canadiens. :-)
