Has anyone here even seen the USMC in action? I have, they're different from the RMC. From watching this video, they dont seem to yell that loud and also not into someones faces. But in the USMC, they get into someones faces and they dont give a crap. They would take ur bed apart and put it outside. They have run back n fourth but only in one step and not stop. Ive seent the instructor throw the recruits bed everywhere. Ive seen it, and its crazy/

I appreciate the encouragement offered by the training officer and the rest of the men in the training group. This is a refreshing change from some other countries and their negative counterproductive atmosphere. But I'm just a dumb civilian with 3 degrees and an M.D. so what do I know?

its the toughest military, standard entry training on the planet, it also has the best training in the world, the standard of training is the same throught the British army, this is comming from a Private Soldier in the British Army, even the regular army training is longer than the usmc training!
@wiganerrmc you do not understand the meaning of low key. Low key means they not always in the news or doing high media coverage like the USMC does. The Navy Seals does alot of the same training so its not on how long you train. Its all in the heart of the man and his leader.
Unless anyone has served in the USMC or RM they have no need to make comments about the relative prowess of the USMC or RM. Most Youtubers couldn't work their way our of a lounge chair to get another Hot Pocket let alone go through a brief ten minutes of physical fitness training that US and Royal Marines go through as part of their daily routine.
The 13 weeks of USMC recruit training is only an intro to the USMC. It takes about 9 months of formal training to produce a battle-ready Marine.
Why Can't we all just get along y'all I have 100% respect for the Royal marines, they kick ass. And so do the USMC, we are allies for hells sake, i dont see why we need to compare each others military. Im applying to the navy academy so i can become an officer in the marine corps and I sure as hell respect the british and what they do to cover our backs and to be our allies. Vice Versa. The British Royal Marines are one of the oldest, toughest marine units alive and will be. The USMC owes its traditions to the RMC, which they borrowed and improved a little. Physical fitness has always been very tough and a serious matter takin into consideration if you make the cut and enlist in the RMC. Love the hell out of the way they stay lowkey but yet get the job done if called upon just like in the falklands. Their battle training is almost second to none. Much respect RMC.

I'm an American who's joining the United States Marine Corps next year and in my opinion, a soldier is a soldier. the USMC's core values of "honor, courage, and committment" are also expected of every soldier around the world. besides, if WWIII goes down in my time, I'm certain that I'll be honored to be able to call some RMC guys my comrades-in-arms as much as my fellow US marines.

US Marine Corps = America's normal infantry.

It's no lie the American Military has been growing week, relying on Numbers instead of Quality, but the Marines have been keeping up to pace more than any service. Shame USMC is going "sissy" in Areas of enlistment that shouldn't be. I'm a Former US Marine & I almost wanna go join the French Foreign Legion.

However, they are not Elite Forces like the UK Royal Marines, I also talked to a Brit who told me about the Royal Marines, they are NOT on the same "level" as USMC, that would be more like Marine Force Recon. If you watch this video compared to the USMC videos cutting about, you notice that the Royal marines are encouraged whereas the USMC are treated like animals. If you treat your recruits like animals they treat each other like animals so there is no comradeship. The reason the Royal marines are so good is because they look after one another and don't get treated like canon fodder, which ultimately is what the USMC are.
@moz1705 USMC recruits are treated like animals to get them used to the horrors of war and to help them stay alive in the thick of battle. All through bootcamp you work as a team, so don't even say that there is no comradeship.

the british believe in staying calm, collected and professional even in the worst of situations. screaming and hollering in the middle of battle only increases tension, panic and the chances of making ill informed and rash decisions that could cost lives.
@anisocoro - the ejection opening on the SA80 is on the right hand side of the weapon, so wen u fire a round off the used cartridge flies out of the opening. If u had ur head on the right hand side of the weapon the cartridge will fly out hit u in the face and burn u.

there were some big international special forces training competition a couple of years ago and the Swedish special forces pwned everyone including the yanks and the brits. Nordic soldiers got the best genetics, physical strong and fit as hell. Kind of a modern day Waffen SS Viking division.

The French Foreign Legion Assault course in South America was done in something like 45 mins by the Legion which is the record on it - the u.s Navy Seals took 7.5 Hours to do it haha.

@USMCFUCKYEA I Fail to see how the M1A2 is better, for a start it was designed by Americans, thats the main flaw, and secondly it uses British designed armour, Chobham Armour which is made in a town of England, and the SAS trained the fuckign Delta so i don't see how they can be better, and SBS BITCH...F-22 costs about 4times as much and does the same thing as the Eurofighter, they were both designed to take out Russian type aircraft, which is what they do, not each other.

the US DELTA force, the US army's best of the best has the same requirements as the british SAS. Out of an army of a near a 1,000,000 men they can only muster a battalion up to the standard, whilst the SAS has a Regiment + reserves from an army of 100,000.

Unless anyone has served in the USMC or RM they have no need to make comments about the relative prowess of the USMC or RM. Most Youtubers couldn't work their way our of a lounge chair to get another Hot Pocket let alone go through a brief ten minutes of physical fitness training that US and Royal Marines go through as part of their daily routine.
The 13 weeks of USMC recruit training is only an intro to the USMC. It takes about 9 months of formal training to produce a battle-ready Marine.

The British Royal Marines are one of the oldest, toughest marine units alive and will be. The USMC owes its traditions to the RMC, which they borrowed and improved a little. Physical fitness has always been very tough and a serious matter takin into consideration if you make the cut and enlist in the RMC. Love the hell out of the way they stay lowkey but yet get the job done if called upon just like in the falklands. Their battle training is almost second to none. Much respect RMC.

However, they are not Elite Forces like the UK Royal Marines, I also talked to a Brit who told me about the Royal Marines, they are NOT on the same "level" as USMC, that would be more like Marine Force Recon. As for the French Foreign Legion, they're actually very hard, so that would be awesome if you made it. :D

If you watch this video compared to the USMC videos cutting about, you notice that the Royal marines are encouraged whereas the USMC are treated like animals. If you treat your recruits like animals they treat each other like animals so there is no comradeship. The reason the Royal marines are so good is because they look after one another and don't get treated like canon fodder, which ultimately is what the USMC are.

there were some big international special forces training competition a couple of years ago and the Swedish special forces pwned everyone including the yanks and the brits. Nordic soldiers got the best genetics, physical strong and fit as hell. Kind of a modern day Waffen SS Viking division.

@USMCFUCKYEA And the Challenger uses NBC defence systems, difference being, lots of Abrams have been destroyed by enemy RPG's, and Anti tank weapons, where as not one challenger has been destroyed by enemy fire, its been hit many times by RPG's and even an Anti tank Milan missile which knocked off the sight and treads, the RPGs just sounded like bullets pinging off, a Challenger recovery tank then came and repaired it, and the tank was back out in the field 6hours later.

@USMCFUCKYEA I Fail to see how the M1A2 is better, for a start it was designed by Americans, thats the main flaw, and secondly it uses British designed armour, Chobham Armour which is made in a town of England, and the SAS trained the fuckign Delta so i don't see how they can be better, and SBS BITCH...F-22 costs about 4times as much and does the same thing as the Eurofighter, they were both designed to take out Russian type aircraft, which is what they do, not each other.

The Delta force for example, trained by the SAS.
Our Forces are more powerful than yours, we just have less of them, our Main Battle tank the Challenger 2 is better than than the Abrams, the US Abrams uses older British armour made in England, you still use some of our jets, the Sea Harriers, our Ships are vastly more advanced and more battle ready, the British Navy is the best in the world, and has been for centuries.

the US DELTA force, the US army's best of the best has the same requirements as the british SAS. Out of an army of a near a 1,000,000 men they can only muster a battalion up to the standard, whilst the SAS has a Regiment + reserves from an army of 100,000.
