WOW - I am a 30 yr old man & this takes me back to my childhood - I was like 6/7 when I first saw this film & it captivated both my heart & imagination - what can you say about the song?? BREATHTAKING - I remember how I felt as a boy everytime I hear it! MAGICAL! I feel SO sorry for children today coz they have nothing like this to amaze them - YES the 80s was a very special time for kids - so many inspiring & wonderful movies!

I loved this movie when i was a young 'un but only just recently did i cry....I hate to be the bearer of bad tidings but.......When Atreyu and Artax enter the swamp of despair and Artax drowns. Those tears aren't fake. Artax really did die. The crew tried and tried to pull him free but to no avail. He sank and died for real. sorry everyone.

This is a great video for a great movie (although the very end of it, AFTER the actual climax of the tale is something I have always considered slightly petty, and unfortunate), but as good as it is, the BOOK that it is is based on is a FAR greater work, FAR richer and more extensive, and with a MAGNIFICENT ending.
