Mums side of the family are all from Lewis, I love the place, it feels more like home than Glasgow does. One thing that annoys me though is when going through the streets of Stornoway, Mum points at nearly every person and says "Thats your cousin and thats one of our relations and..." I guess you get the picture.

I am just back from the gig at Brighton's KOMEDIA & I just want to say what an absolutely mesmerising experience Colin's performance was. Truely brilliant !!! With just his good self & Sarah on cello, & the old stomp-box, the whole place was silenced & focussed & carried on waves of brilliant Hebridean energy. Lisa Mitchell was also great, but really The Boy's performance soared. It was much more than I expected, especially his guitar playing. Make sure you're back here soon mate. Peace.
