I grew up to this family. I wished for this family and I still do. I hope to find my Dan Conner. I use to be very much like Darlene actually have been told by family and strangers how we looked alike. Now I am more like Roseanne. My kids are like those kids now.
I loved watching Roseanne as a young adult, but at 46 yrs old, watching the reruns on netflix pulled me out of a horrible depression and helped me get back to to living. Thank you Roseanne.
I was really young when I watched this so I didn't get as much out of it as I can now as an adult. It was just "one of those shows" you watched all the time. It became a normal part of life, y'know? But now, looking back on it, I can see it as one of the seminal television series of all time and how unique it really was, especially for its time.
Roseanne was one of my favorite all time shows. The series closer made me cry because it was so real. Thank you Cast. Miss Roseanne, you are the Goddess Incarnate.
This show worked. Because it was very "real" America.. Regular workin class folks. I can't tell you how many times, I have heard it called "white trash" family. It was about as real as it gets. And it worked because we out number the high class. And that explains a Walmart in every populated area.. And also why Larry the cable guy fills stadiums. Now they wont let anybody be working class on TV. They have to wear suits, work in an office. Am I right or not? I don't know anymore.
@Crimsonite20 it's sooo funny and interesting. Some ppl dimiss it, cuz it's about "unattractive" people. They're MISSING the point: It's intelligent people who happen to be poor and unattractive.
Thanks for uploading .. I love Roseanne and watch it to this day. There will never be another show like it. They're like my other family. I love you guys!

@SimonKentSmith yes, we've reinvented 80s decadence, with rich ppl on TV. ugh.

@sp4eva1
they are the fanbase of cw teen dramas or greys anatomy........besides roseanne was great because you could relate to the conners
Crimsonite20 10 months ago
@Crimsonite20 exactly. They're shallow or easily offended by hard-hitting truths on shows like Roseanne.
