I'd love to have your settings for Guitar Rig. Its close to his sound, maybe take out a tiny little bit of the edge.

To me Thunderstruck on that gig always sounded so warm and soft, i loved that. And he made up for the smooth sound with a little bit more distortion than usual.

Its funny how only a few people notice how different his sound was on that tour, to me it was always obvious and I wanted to replicate that sound ever since.

You're close to the sound, but Angus always changes his strings before going on a gig, that's how he achieves his uniqe soune, and with muddy strings it won't be the same sound.....from my own experience, I've noticed the difference of muddy and clean stings, it sound much more like Angus with clean strings =)

@grainin93 Thank you! Yes i realize that. But i have a bit sweaty hands and my strings get dirty pretty quickly and i don't have the money to buy strings all the time :) I clean them with WD40 or rubbing alcohol but it isn't the same as a set of new strings!

@MBString i wouldnt reccomend using wd-40 on your strings... yes it takes the rust of but its bad on your skin... :) own experience m8 :) try using something else :)

@MBString hmm... from all i know wd-40 is bad on skin... if u absolutely have to use it... why not try put olive on ur string later to null the effect :)

@MBString lemon oil is another option. I always use it to oil my fretboard when i re-string and it really helps for sliding your fingers faster down and up the strings.
