WOw, I can't believe you have recording of this song. Some girls in my 7th grade choir sing at All-State. It was 97-98 , and I've been in love with this song ever since. The person who posted it knows good music.Thanks
I hope the men were singing just Alto part. We I was a freshman our concert choir did this SSAA song called Standchen by Schubert. The men were split between A1 and A2, and the girls were S1 and S2, with some girls singing with us alto's to round it out.I hope I can find a recording of it; cause we performed it at Carnegie Hall...........GREATNESS.
I sang this with my college choir. Its one of my favorites.

We were at Carnegie Hall also!! We performed "When we no longer touch" It was very exciting to be on that stage!!!!
