Giggs is more Grime, a less softened version of hip hop. 2 different genres of music. The US are the dominant players at hip hop but you don't really hear much grime in the US, and do Grime goes to the UK. The rap scene is so broad that you will get different versions of rap. You also have to listen out for the lyrics too.
