The product is not the problem. Your 2 grand bike has a very cheap finish.
Epoxy type glue is much different then a resin which is what real carbon fiber is bonded with. The film is not strong enough to pull apart properly laid resin. And resin is much stronger then paint which the film is made for. Sounds like your rollin a tight huffy...lol
Be careful when using this product on un-painted CARBON FIBER surfaces. When I cut a piece the wrong size, I removed the tape and it wrecked the clear coat finish and damaged the natural carbon fiber weave of my bicycle. The tape also damaged the powder paint on my frame. My $2000 bike looks like crap now. Carbon fiber is held together with epoxy type glue, the 25% alcohol solution may have also damaged the carbon fiber. I should have stuck with Carnauba Wax.

They are saying its 3M film, but when they went to put the kit on. The backing paper didnt say 3M it was plain white
