  • use black jamaican castor oil, vitamin e oil, jojoba oil, coconut oil, emu oil, these oilmixed together will make your edges grow back. it will take time and you have to be patient, hair grow a inch a month, SO if you use this mixture twice daily and massage in , guaranteed hair growth and adges will grow back hope this helps. p.s my egdes are thin and are growing back due to this mixture, peace

  • STOP putting micros in your hair, Stop putting weave on edges, Stop pulling back your hair (especially so tightly), gently massage scalp with JBCO, Wear a satin/silk cap everytime before your hair touches cotton ie: your pillow!! Minimize hair manipulation!! And just some good ole TLC!

  • I have the same problem. Mine never grew back, even after go natural. To make them less noticeable I purchaces a pack of afro kinky (synthetic) hair. Took a little section of hair and rolled it like a toothpick. Then cut (from tip to end) into the smallest pieces pieces possible. Almost the size of dust over a piece of paper. Then I dab my finger into in the pile and tap/spread that over the thin areas. Spray some natural hair spray to hold in place...and MIRACLE!

  • Try HerbalRiche hair oil, it is great for thin edges

  • Try HerbalRiche hair oil, it is great for thin edges

  • Tea tree Rosemary & Lemongrass oils, mixed with aloe vera gel to make a cream like base to use. Hit me up on my page on my page "LagosNecee". I have just started this journey and wanted to show my result on youtube.

I agree with "runnbunny" you reall don't need to pull you sides back.

Im trying to grow mine back and it is working.

  • dr. miracles nape/temple has worked for me...but it takes several months. my mother held my hair in tight ponytails when i was young so my sides were gone! as an adult ive been natural and trying to find a remedy for this myself. I think dr miracles was the only thing that got hair in those areas. Ive been trying black castor oil too but havent tried it long enough. try dr miracles and dont brush and pull ur hair back often on the sides.

  • castor oil is the remedy to growing back your hairline is seems to be working for me

  • Castor oil has been working for me. At first I was just using it to slick back my edges, then I started noticing my baby hairs in the temple where there was none before. It seems to be doing something! Good luck!

  • Go see a Dermatologist

  • i wud say castor oil, its been working for me. and for the brave, try the MN mixes that people have been raving about :)

  • I hear burdock in pill form is good as well as sulfur ie. sulfur 8(I agree runnybunny83) another girl just uses natural oil...good luck

  • Congrats on being able to push your hair back in a puff!! I would say try not to create tension around the edges of your hair. So minimize pulling ur hair back in puff's and don't braid your hair as often. That should help it to grow back...

  • STOP STOP STOP pulling your hair back like the style you have in this vid. give your edges time to relax and grow back. if you had thick edges then yes it will grow back if you stop with the micro and pulling it back. but if you always had thin edges then it is what it is .. my lil girl has thin edges and she has never even had them touched from the time shes been born . i dont like pulling them back tight too much stress on hair isnt good for anything.

  • I'm not totally positive, but a lot of women on here talk about wild growth oil and sulfur eight being good for edges. HTH
