  • Wich is better egrip or response trigger

  • @SnakeEyes732 E-Grip, in my opinion. It has better air efficiency, gives you a shorter, lighter trigger pull, and allows you to stay in semi-auto, full-auto, or whatever you'd like :)

  • Drill ur own water wtf??

  • You also have to remove the trigger return slide, It does not show it in this video nor the directions that came with the gun, but it is important to remove it.

  • @TheHoneyBadger17 Thanks! We thought this had already been notated on this video! I went ahead and did that for all others and thank you for bringing that to our attention!

  • @HustlePaintball im talking bout can you put a spyder e grip on a tacamo type 68 ak and it works ?

  • @GoatKiller187 Working, sure. Made for the marker with an easy installation, no. Mixing parts that are not made for the marker is always a project. Also adding an E-Grip to magazine fed markers usually results in bad things.

  • @HustlePaintball well I have heard you can put a spyder e grip on it and it workd is this true ?

  • @GoatKiller187 Anything is possible, I suppose, with enough modification :)

But, short answer, no, you cannot put a Spyder E-Grip kit on the Alpha Black Tactical.

  • Will this work on a syder sonix or is there something else that will work

  • @summerfest1mike This will not fix on a Spyder Sonix, and we currently don't have a Spyder E-Grip kit that will fit your Sonix. My honest recommendation would be a new gun instead of upgrading the Sonix.

Remember that you can also contact us at support@hustlepaintball(.)com with any questions or comments that you may have.

  • @GoatKiller187 Not currently, unfortunately.

  • Is this the same for a carver one

  • @t00swagg Yes the installation is going to be identical. Let me know if you have any other questions!

  • Please help i installed e trigger and now my gun will not work! When i cock it back it will not go all the way back and does not fire

  • @louisb3757 you probably didnt put the seer on right or something isnt on fully, try cleaning it too maybe? hope i helped if not search around on google or youtube

  • @louisb3757 Make sure that you assembled the gun properly - you can also give us a call if you need more help!

  • I lost my "magazine" with the umbraco keys, Is there any way to buy a new one without bying anything else?

  • @Sammyen94 Yes, we sell replacement magazines on our website! I'll PM you a link.

  • if i use CO2, will it fry the E-Trigger?

  • @Super40jordan Not at all, however, you a host of other problems with CO2, particularly at the high rates of fire the e-grip will operate at.

  • @Sammyen94 You can get just the magazine for the Alpha Black.

  • I recently bought a e grip for my alpha black. And followed this two videos. And it did not shoot after I was done. Can I send it back and get it fixed? Please reply!

  • @TheBrownwetback I have sent you a PM.

  • how come in the instruction manual it tells you to remove the parts on the trigger? the metal piece with the spring to be exact? is that necessary? I took it out but it seems you did not

  • @geezybby1 Yes, you do want to remove that metal slider, the pin that holds the slider in, as well as the spring inside of the slider. It can interfere with the operation of your E-Grip kit.

  • @HustlePaintball oh okay thanks. I have a couple more questions, 1st I bought an aftermarket egrip and it works fine but its missing the LED light. is there anyway I can put a new one on there? and my second question is, while testing the egrip, I actually chopped a ball while it was one 3 shot burst (quite surprised), but I do just have a regular gravity hopper. Is that the reason? should I upgrade to an electronic? or could it also be because the way i was pulling the trigger?

  • @geezybby1 I am not sure if there is a way to get a new LED on there. The hopper will be the main reason for chops, you need one that will load faster than your marker can shoot. So something like an Empire Halo Too would be great!

  • @geezybby1 your going to need a electronic hopper...i recoment the halo or a rotor, halo is cheaper and rotor is really nice but around $150, pinokio hopper would do good too but again, cost,...halo is probably the cheapest

  • I really enjoyed the fact the person teaching me didn't have an annoying voice haha I found myself more focus on what I was learning lol

  • Umm..just comfused on one part. Why exactly amm I cutting those cutouts my grip? yes to make a hole..but why? Thanks!

  • @Jdawgxx1 The hole is for access to the battery.

  • @HustlePaintball : OKay thanks!

  • @Jdawgxx1 the hole is for access to the button that switches semi-automatic, burst fire or fully automatic mode

  • Can you use a 98 custom response trigger on an A-5 as is or will i have to modify it? Thanks

  • @JndJproductions You should use the A5 Response for the A5. The setups work the same and some parts are identical but you will need many of the hoses and adapters.

  • if u order this gun online with an egrip from tippmann.com do u install it or will it already be installed?

  • @halo4style It will already be installed, especially if you order it from Hustle Paintball instead. :)

  • @halo4style If you purchase the marker with the E-grip function it will come installed.

  • will this on work on a 98caus ei was going to buy my friends plz respond

  • @skatebuttt Yes you are able to install an E-Grip on a 98. Let me know if you have any other questions!

  • @HustlePaintball no like use the one off the alpha black and putting it on a 98

  • @skatebuttt The kits are different and while similar are not interchangeable.

  • hey do i still need a airtank after the e trigger is installed?

  • @adderlyyadiqq Yes, of course, the marker needs air to fire the paintball. The E-grip just makes it so the firing mechanism is electronic - it doesn't actually power the movement of the paintball itself, the valve assembly and bolt do that with the air from the tank.

  • when u get an egrip once you put it on do u have a choice of semi or is it just all automatic

  • @hpslayer72 You can choose from multiple firing modes. Anything from semi-auto to 15 bps is available. You choose the mode and the marker follows your lead.

  • @HustlePaintball hey a quiestion , with da marker open, i can see a ring behind da amm hammer , what is dat ?

  • @666brokenhearts That is the buffer o-ring, it just bounces around in there. Perfectly normal.

  • @HustlePaintball thank you :)

  • i am ordering my gun from paintball gear.ca but i am ordering it with the the e trigger will it be in staled all ready ? and will the pieces that they take out will i get them back ,ie, sere and sere spring. also will the alpha black shoot with the e trigger when it dose not have a battery connected like the x7 phenom

    ?

  • @smartpartsvibe1295 I cant speak for another company, but I would imagine it would come already installed.

  • @smartpartsvibe1295 yea man it does

  • This looks pretty easy but, I dont want every thing to shoot everywhere when I open it up. Can that happen?

  • @AIRSOFT217 If you didn't know that the internals of the gun are under spring tension, then yes it can, however a little knowledge goes a long way.

  • i might do this. but only if i have $80 just lying around.

  • do have to have cyclone feed or can u just use a electric hopper please comment back!!!!

  • @MMAgurl93 The Alpha Black can use either the cyclone system or a powered hopper.

  • @HustlePaintball thanks dude:)

  • can you operate in semi auto mode without using the battery or buttons or anything??

  • @Mrbiggs100977 You will need batteries with charge to fire at all. The X7 Phenom is the only electronic marker that does not need batteries to work in semi-auto mode.

  • where do you buy the etrigger i bought my marker from dicks sporting goods and it didnt come with anything.

  • @MrTurmoilprodigy I would suggest Hustle Paintball, they carry all the Tippmann parts you could ever need.

  • The empire tank, is good for my marker?

  • For what is the last step?, the one she's cutting ??

  • @rudypumas98 You have to cut out the holes in the grip for the LED and the power button. This is what she is doing with the razor - Let me know if you have any other questions!

  • will a cyclone feed system be recommended for this because i have the same gun with the egrip

  • @TheEzFilms The Cyclone Feed or another type of electronic hopper would definitely be recommended.

  • segui paso a paso este video por la instalacionde el etrigger pero fallo . ahy un setalle al instalar el garillo ahy que sacar la lamina metaliva que tiene el resorte o de lo contrario queda automatica y no funcionan los tiempos de programacion ..

  • My 1st gun was a tippmann 98, an i im thinking of buying the bravo with egrip pre-installed 4 220, is it worth it, or is it a waste of money

  • @ATREYDISM I have pm'd you.

  • I just added the e-trigger to my Tippmann Alpha Black. The install went ok but when I go to shoot on Semi it fires air like it is on full auto. On Semi the gun fires only one ball per trigger pull like it should but the air is going as fast as it would if I was on full auto.

In other words I pull the trigger once and a ball comes out like it should, but if I continue to hold the trigger down air keeps firing at the rate it would if I was on full auto.

    Any thoughts?

  • @CacheFreakTV PM'd

  • @CacheFreakTV i have the exact same problem also im using cyclone feed

    can u also pm me?

  • @chumpacena After posting in a couple other forums the issue is the little metal part on the back of the trigger along with the spring needs to come off. After taking it off the gun fires perfectly. Apparently keeping that on allows the trigger to still hit the seer. This video needs to be updated.

  • what 9v on your site do you recomend for this trgger and can you pm me link please

  • how much does e-grip cost

  • @armando77012 I've sent you a PM

  • Comment removed

  • @armando77012 about 80$

  • @mytubetwentyfive NVM i found a comment in which you already answered the question. thx! =)

  • hi HP, i recently bought a alpha black tactical egrip jugg package, and was wondering if the egrip comes installed?

  • where do u buy a egrip for a a-5?

  • @gvjssb2 Pm'd

  • Am i able to buy more of those batteries from your website?

  • @COGgear1000 We do sell Energy Paintball 9V batteries on our site.

  • i have a question... will this e-grip kit work with the tango one/ carver one?

  • @MrSleihs Yes this e-grip kit will fit the Tango one/Carver one.

  • can u get a store to put on the e-grip

  • @codpro2000 Some stores will do it for a tech fee. We can do that for you as well and tech rates vary on what type of marker you want it installed on.

  • thanks this really helped me a lot

  • Im new to this stuff so wts the difference between a e grip and a respose trigger

  • @TheBuddy303 There are a couple of videos on our channel detailing the Response Trigger and E-Grip. Check out the "What is a Response Trigger and should I get one?" video and "A Closer Look at the Tippmann A5 Hall Effect E-Grip Kit."

  • do u have to take the gun apart to switch the modes baack and forth

  • @LegItXcRazY No, you can switch through the shooting modes by pressing the same button you use to turn the grip on.

  • I have a modified shooting spring will the etrigger still work?

  • @TheROFLstudio What spring are you referring to as the shooting spring?

  • @HustlePaintball The velocity spring?

  • @TheROFLstudio The E-Grip is designed to work with the factory spring. Because "modified" could refer a number of different changes that may have been made, it would be impossible to say whether or not the E-Grip will function properly in this environment.

  • i have a problem... can i switch the e trigger to fully auto to auto-matic the back to semi? when i shut off the trigger . its back to semi auto right? sombody please rly to me.

  • @comehoot12345678 The E-Grip does not save any settings between uses. It will always revert back to the semi-auto position.

  • Hey can you PLEASE!!!!make a tutorial on how to put a E-Grip On the Valken Sw1. Please dont troll me on my gun choice i used it today in speedball i kicked ass was the best on the filed with my team and the other team.

  • This just makes the marker fully automatic right?

  • @we465 It gives you various firing modes like fully auto, burst modes, and semi-automatic. Even if you don't choose to use full-auto, the trigger will be SUPER sensitive and allow you to fire faster!

  • can i use e grip for custom 98 on bravo one?

  • @LKJHGFDSA2222 The E-Grip you will need is the one that is made for the Alpha Black. The 98 version will not work without modifications.

  • i bought the egrip and installed it but wen i went out to test it out it dnt wont work right it starts shooting full auto even wen the mode is on semi or it chops ball i dont know why and i followed this video directly and it still wouldnt want to work right so please if you can help me with this problem thanks alot

  • @erick15zuniga I have sent you a pm.

  • @HustlePaintball i have the same prob

  • is this how you add a e-grip for most guns? =)

  • @mitch1171 The installation for the E-grip boards are all similar to this but do have specific differences.

  • E-grip are the worst boards ever, but shit, its all we have

  • i bought an egrip for my alpha black and it works when theres no air but when i go outside and shoot it with compressed air it doesnt shoot semi auto it jackhammers then recocks itself...is it broken or is it just cuz its cold?

  • @drewsky1996 If this is an E-grip that you have installed I would check to make sure that you have installed the sear and sear spring that came with the E-grip kit. These are essential to the E-grip working correctly.

  • how much for an e trigger

  • @MrPaintball71 They are $79.00.

  • can i use the alpha black kit on the 98?

  • @hackerdudemofo No, they are different E-Grip kits, you must get the one for the 98.

  • to make the gun work do u have to put a 9v baterry? well i have the egrip one but today i try to use it just with a CO2 tank and it doesnt work so i need to pu a baterry so it shoots?

  • @Airborne488 Yes, once you have an E-grip installed you need to have a battery for it to turn on and fire it.

  • Let's say my E-grip broke. What would I have to do?

  • @TehHyperPivot I have sent you a pm regarding your question.

  • why don't they let you put a response trigger in a AB

  • how much does that e-grip cost? and what setting are on it?

  • @xTOMMYx67 shop.tippmann9 (DOT)com/products/productdetail/part_number=T206002/3642.0.1.1

    semi-auto, auto-response, full-auto, 3-shot burst, and turbo up to 15 BPS

  • @xTOMMYx67 The Alpha Black E-grip costs $79.00, it's features 4 firing modes that can be changed in seconds - semi auto, 3 shot safety burst, 2 full auto modes.

  • @HustlePaintball thanks

  • ok but since it does have the 98 threads can you put a 98 flatline on it

  • @victor3381 Yes - it will fit on the Alpha Black, though it will look pretty silly.

  • Can you put a flat line barrel on a alpha black

  • @victor3381 As of right now there is not a Flatline barrel for the Alpha Black.

  • Excuse me, but would this e-trigger kit for the Alpha Black work for the Carver One?

  • @wannaparty247 This E-Grip will work for the Alpha Black, Project Salvo and the Carver One markers.

  • can u use the marker with out egrip turned on

  • @kruager No, you need it to be turned on.

  • for the bt omega can we take off the carrying handle?

  • @MrBikerider101 The carry handle is integrated into the marker so it can't be removed by regular means.

  • i got two armerment pins in my e kit ones 3 " the others 3.7-3.8" i used te 3.8" bc it fit do you have any idea whats up with the 3 one?

  • @postetnote123 Give Tippmann Sports a call at (800) 533-4831 and they will take care of you. Let me know if you need anything else.

  • I was just woundring im thinking of buying a black alpha and woundering if a e-grip is worth the extra money or no thanks for the help

  • The BT-Omega and the Bravo One are very similar in function and reliability. Accessories for the two are also similar in function and availability. The Bravo One can be had with E-Grip capabilities which adds versatility to the marker. Another difference between the two is that the BT-Omega does not come with a 2 year warranty.

  • @HustlePaintball i want to buy a nice m16 but im unsure whether to buy tippman bravo one tactical/ bt omega WHICH ONE ??????? (ANYONE)

  • The BT-4 Combat and the 98 Custom are similar in function and reliability. The main difference between the two is that the BT-4 does not come with a 2 year warranty.

  • hey guys .... im just wondering: Since i want my own paintball gun and i really like all the Tippmann ones, which is better, out of the Bravo One or the 98 Series and are the attachments for each compatible with each-other? Cos the bravo one is cheaper, but it seams that the only attachments for it are to make it look like an M16 :S

  • @baneblade1995 The Bravo One and the Tippmann 98 are near identical, the 98 is just more customizable, for that reason alone I would suggest the Tippmann 98.

  • @HustlePaintball

Hmmmm, what about the BT-4 Combat then? i have heard it is slightly more reliable than the 98c and can take all the attachments for the 98C and the A5 making it just as customizable?

  • @baneblade1995 Get the Tippmann Alpha Black.

  • Does this work with the BT Omega? They are almost the exact same?

  • @FullmetalKavik Unfortunately no, in fact, th only thing the omega can be upgraded with is a Rip-Clip, though one isn't necessarily needed when you can't upgrade it to have higher rates of fire.

  • Can some answer me this... i have a 98 custom with cyclone feed system and the e-grip.. i wanna know if the e-grip and cyclone would work on a project salvo cus i wanna sell the e-grip and the cyclone and we dont know if it works on a project salvo...

  • @e1badboyPR The E-Grip will not work on a salvo, the U.S. Army Tippmann markers have their own specific e-grip upgrade.

  • Can some answer me this... i have a 98 custom with cyclone feed system and the e-grip.. i wanna know if the e-grip and cyclone would work on a project salvo cus i wanna sell the e-grip and the cyclone but the person that is going to buy it and i we dont know if it works on a project salvo...

  • can i use this e-grip on a tippmann 98 custom

  • @xxEXsoulsniperX No, it's slightly different - you would need the Tippmann 98 E-Grip kit for your 98 Custom.

  • dose it work on a bravo one

  • @RicRaulTV2 Yes, the Bravo one and Alpha Black have only one difference, the name, this is because of licensing issues outside of the U.S.

  • does it work on sira one to ?

  • @QCfocher Yes it works on the Sierra One.

  • Does the E-grip also work on Tippmann 98 custom ?

  • @TheWillor There is a specific E-Grip kit for the 98 Custom, the U.S. Army kit will not work.

  • Does the E-grip also work on tippmann project salvo?

  • @xtheXacTiviZioNx Yes it does, we even have a video on it :).

  • @xtheXacTiviZioNx yes they are all 98C guns

  • thats not actually a solinoid its jus a mechinism to trip the sear a solinoid has air pressure in it and releases the air into the bolt/rammer assembly sending the bolt forward.. jus mentioning it.. no big. nice instructions.

  • @jizzems79 It's not an air solenoid, but it is in fact a solenoid. The technical definition of a solenoid is "A coil of wire that acts as an electromagnet when electric current is passed through it, often used to control the motion of metal objects, such as the switch of a relay"

It's definitely different than the type of solenoid found in electro-pneumatic guns, though.

  • @jizzems79 its it technically a solenoid but i just call it a sear tripper

  • my metal rod is to small wut do i do

  • @kwseth123 Did you get the Alpha Black E-Grip kit or another kind?

  • Absolutely - that's a great combo!
