The police and prosecuters lied about: the "bloody" footprints of Amanda, the receipt that said she bought bleach, the amount of DNA on the kitchen knife, the fact that she had AIDS etc. And then they call Amanda a liar! Why should the police lie if they have a strong case? Also: if Amanda and Raffaele have cleaned up their DNA at the scene, how come Rudy's DNA was still all over the place? They could not have cleaned their own traces without cleaning Rudy's too.
Without removing the other suspect DNA too. Be objective people judge cases by the evidence and motives in which Amanda had lacked. Plus people do bizarre things when they are stressed, sometimes we do or say things that does not make sense, or we do senseless things just to distract ourselves. They wanted to get rid of her. Why else would they change their request for her sentencing to be life in prison if she lost the appeal? It required them to decide on overturning the conviction or giving her life in prison over circumstantial evidence. The prosecution made this a slam dunk for her defense. The police and prosecuters lied about: the "bloody" footprints of Amanda, the receipt that said she bought bleach, the amount of DNA on the kitchen knife, the fact that she had AIDS etc. And then they call Amanda a liar! Why should the police lie if they have a strong case? Also: if Amanda and Raffaele have cleaned up their DNA at the scene, how come Rudy's DNA was still all over the place? They could not have cleaned their own traces without cleaning Rudy's too.

Without removing the other suspect DNA too. Be objective people judge cases by the evidence and motives in which Amanda had lacked. How does a stainless knife look cleaner than another? And..that knife sat on a desk in the police station for a period of time. The bra clasp was left on the floor for 47 days and was moved around before collected making it highly contaminated. This evidence was produced by the prosecuter.

@diiggas If you don't know if she's guilty or not, then you must aquit on the grounds of reasonable doubt. Taking into behaviour patterns is a surefire way of playing into the hands of the media and press.Put yourself into their shoes, would you be at ease with the evidence the prosecution cooked up? Read the whole list of evidence and not the press and media nonsense!

@TheHughes56 she wasn't railroaded by any means, and she initially went in as a WITNESS, willingly, until her's and her boyfriend's alibi's didn't add up. It wasn't 13 hours, nor was she AT ALL "hit in the back of the head" as she initially claimed. Her family is being sued for slander for repeating those false claims. Also, an innocent person doesn't accuse another person of committing a crime, why falsely implicate her boss?

If you believe the Italian prosecution and police version of events,then who am I to argue with you, except to say that there was not a lawyer present when she was questioned. If as Guede states that Amanda Knox and Meredith were arguing about untidiness, how did he understand them as they would have spoken in english! Guede didn't speak any!

They wanted to get rid of her. Why else would they change their request for her sentencing to be life in prison if she lost the appeal? It required them to decide on overturning the conviction or giving her life in prison over circumstantial evidence. The prosecution made this a slam dunk for her defense. Either they meant to or they are just plain stupid.

The fact that the italian police messed with the evidence, and was sloppy in general, AND no real dna was found at the scene of the crime. What was found was the african guy, his dna was EVERYWHERE. She was convicted for a crime she did not commit.

looking at how BRUTAL the crime was i really dont think amanda knox could have killed meredith even if she had help from her boyfriend. im pretty sure both amanda and her boyfriend would have had some type of defensive markings on their body. meredith was walking alone the night of the murder any psycho could have seen her walking by herself and follow her to her house.

The main reason why people thinks she's innocent is because of how she looked. She looked so innocent. No person who looks as innocent as her could possibly commit a horrible crime. Both defendant and prosecutor are manipulating the evidences. Family of Amanda Knox shouldn't have a fucking say. Any family out there would support their own even if they know their own is guilty. No country want to keep an American civilian this long in their country after all the biased media news coverage degrading Italy's judicial system and their country. Also accusing Italy for misleading evidence. It was all politics. The courts don't care if she was innocent or not. They just had to set her free. It's not about right or wrong anymore.

I'll still believe she's not innocent but I don't really care about it any longer. Believing that people would do the right thing, including Amanda herself is a false hope.
