I am a meat loaf fan, I worship anything Steinman writes, however I think this is as good as meat loaf's version.

@hatstalker Steinman songs are usually better when someone covers them because he seems to always be able to make the song better with different instrumental backing and effects. Manilow did that with Read Em and Weep, and Meat's versions of Steinman's hits (Rock 'n Roll Dreams, Good Girls, IACBTMN) seem to be updated for the better. He just has that touch of how a song should be for a particular artist (hell, I think Meat's Seize the Night is better than what Steinman had originally).

@darkpowrjd Really? I think that whenever someone covers a Steinman song without his involvement it turns out for the worse. I don't think any of the songs on BOoH III sound as good as they could have if Steinman had actually been involved in recording them. Most of the songs on that album are better in their initial versions imo.

@tobbaddol I think IACBTMN is excellent the way Meat did it, and let's not forget about Bad For Good. So yeah, even without Steinman's involvement, the tracks are usually better the second time around.

@sphinxrising58 Sorry, but that is NOT Holly Sherwood in the video, although it is her doing the singing. As far as I know, Holly has never appeared in any video in which she has been the singer, so her looks remain a mystery to this day. :-(

Thanks for the quality video to this great song. I got the CD somewhere in the 90's and have been following Jim Steinman since the mid 80's. Do you happen to have the video to the Pandora's Box version of Original Sin?

As far as I know, the only two Pandora's Box videos ever made were "GGGTH" and "It's All Coming Back To Me Now". The only video version I've ever seen of "Original Sin" is the one by Taylor Dayne for the movie "The Shadow".  You can find it here on YouTube.
