  • Wow what a blast from the past. Not even Moby Games remembers this one!

  • does any one know what song that is at the end of the screen 5?

  • ... Maybe Mozart? With a harpsichord you'd get something that sounds similar.

  • I like the music on the C64 more than on the Atari version, it sounds surprisingly like a Moog synthesizer.

  • The C64 version is a whole lot cheerier than the Atari 800 version! All the enemies have big grins on their faces, and Joe doesn't appear to be grimacing like he does on the Atari.

  • I love how every stage title is an in-joke amongst the programmers. I remember this game well- I wish I could still hook up the old commodore and play these hidden gems. Sure this is a cheap Q-Bert knock off but something about the corny music and the post-lobotomic look on Joe's face make it just classic!

  • dude, you rule! I did all the level titles AND wrote the music and sound routines. It was a blast. You CAN play Pogo Joe today...just DL a C64 emulator; PJ plays just like it did in the old days.

Thanks for bringing back old memories!
