I think if you fully upgrade one of the pistols (not sure which one) you get a dagger

Very good. I like it. It's also good that you manully reload sometimes, I know people that never manully reload and then when a lot of enemies they run out of bullits in that clip and have to reload in the wrong moments:(

i have a question. i killed everyone in the fortress and all that. but i can't open the gate to go to my objective. how do i open?

ummm its a long time since ive played this and from what i can remember once your killed everyone in that fortress and blow that thing up on top of the building you make your way back down and as you go out there be a walkway to your left :) hope that helps if not pm me :D
