Blizzard's Lament of the Highborne Music Video

The first time I heard this, I was wandering through undercity and it just started all of a sudden while I was buying alchemy supplies! since then I searched for it non-stop! I'm glad I found it... for some reason Sylvanas is the only WoW characters back story that seems to strike me. I feel for a in-game character! should I laugh or cry?

she was a high elf, sister to Alleria Windrunner, Hero of War Two, missed in Draenor that is now Outland... Sylvanas was beaten by Arthas, Champion of the Lichking, but instead of being slain, she was transformed and immediately controlled by the tyrant mind of the lichking... she never met any nightelves, nightelves hate high elves... the nightelves wasnt "awake" when Quel'thalas was crushed under Arthas Ironboots... then she broke free, when ice crown was under magical attack by illidan...

She was a High Elf. Think back to Warcraft 3, Reign of Chaos. Arthas drove her back from the High Elf villages. There were no purple skins there (except for a probable Crypt Feind or two...)

Now I know the real reason: only the Night Elf-model was finished :) Later a new patch changed her body. She looks like in the Warcraft 3 now. So I can see that she is in her original body.

if u read about her past...it is soooooooo sad..the alliance left her and her people for dead when Arthas and the scourge came...the remaining High Elves became known as the Blood Elves...that is why they are on the horde side in wow..cause the alliance left them for dead when the scourge came and corrupted the land

actualy, belfs are on horde side 'cause Marshal Garithos (that noob) blamed belfs of being traitors when they sided with naga to fight of the scourge. garithos ordered them all to be executed (the belfs) but lady vashj (naga leader) freed them and led them to outland to meet illidan

Wait. I had thought the elves LEFT the Alliance after the second war ended. Therefore, I think the Alliance, though it certainly could help, is free of guilt.

Cause Blizzard hadn't designed the BE features bout the time WoW was released. I think they should change it now, she looks pathetic featured as an Undead Night Elf.

And she IS a Blood Elf btw, that fought against the Undead Scourge raid on Quel'Thalas led by Arthas in the Third War. Unfortunately for her, she got murdered by the Death Knight in the process that brought her spirit back in a Ritual as a Banshee.

no shes not a blood elf...she was a high elf..a captain for silvermoon...she and her sister were killed when the scourge came and corrupted her land of eversong forest....she was killed by Arthas the deathknight...he then brought her back as a banshee...she though was able to obtain her natural form from the Sunwell Orb in silvermoon..she then broke free of the Lich Kings grip on the undead and formed her own race...the Undead Forsaken

the undead forsaken were committed to killing the scourge that made them what they are...and anyone who would stand in there way...she then defeated Majordomo Varathimas..who then swore loyalty to Sylvanas..and has been loyal since then..he now stands by her side in the Undercity..and i do say he is one tough cookie

in world of warcraft majordomo varithramas is brother to majordomo executus who was enslaved and forced to live in the molten core with ragnarosas spawned after (forgot the name) spawned a fire elemental, after rag got free, he found the sunwell and took the rest of its power and became invincible, however, his price was to stay at the heart of the core of the world.
