u also neglect the fact that the yemenite jews are different from mizarhim. ghat is a plant that grows mainly in some place in the middle east. i know for a fact yemenis use it daily in mass quantities, i remmber my grandfather used to come home with a bag of full of ghat leaves and finish it before sunrise.
