I have one question, though - if the whole point of the 30 day challenge is about learning how to make money online without having to spend a dime, how come they have a link at the bottom of their page to a website called Immediate Edge which costs either $97 or $97 a MONTH? Kind of undermines their basic message. I still signed up, but I'm a little bit more wary now.

I guess I'll just have to see how it goes.

I don't think it really undermines the message at all. The message is "How to make your *first $10* online".

If you can make $10 a day using those techniques, then you can make about $300 a month. Not a full income, but it's definitely something!

I joined one of those memberships... those clubs are about making a LOT more. Yes, it's an upsell, but that doesn't bother me for 2 reasons:

1) They DON'T push it in 30DC. They don't hide it either though.

2) The Membership is worth every penny.

If their goal is to first demonstrate that they know how to help YOU make money BEFORE they ask you to PAY for THEIR product then it alright.

In other words, there is no problem charging someone to teach them how to create a profitable online business - so long as you aren't just milking people based on empty promises or excess hype.

Actually, I don't :). I use Adobe Premier Elements for editing and learned how to edit just from fooling around. The best thing to do is watch the best videos on Youtube and your favorite movies and watch how they do pacing, cuts, pauses, etc. Then just imitate it.
