I think the best part of this music is to watch these geniuses just kickin' it and having a great time playing, smiling, having fun (except Keely, lol). That's magic right there.
Why you put the satans 666 in ur name, mate the only thing satan care's to ruin your life and to follow him in his doom . i promise that in my life if you ask jesus to come in ur life and with ur sorry to him and ur willing to stop sin , you will have one awsome experience you wont expect. you will even feel and see the presence of the holy spirit when u born again then you will know that jesus is there and hearing to what ever you say. do it trully from ur heart :)
I LOVE how he gets so into his playing that he goes up and down!(: Im in middle school and i play tenor sax for jazz band and night train is my favorite song out of the real book. THIS version is my favorite version i love the drums in the begginning
*Even though personally I thought the music was a little "white" anyway, I still appreciate it so much when I can tell someone is feeling the music and putting their soul into what they do.
LOLOL at the woman! God she is SOOO white haha, someone needs to show her what real music is and teach her how to feel it. She looked like she so didn't want to be there. Dumb square didn't ever feel the beat lol. It's just priceless seeing ALL those guys jammin' it out and getting down with their bad self and that chick is just begging to roll her eyes, sigh, and slap them all. haha.
On stage, Prima insisted on Smith adopting a humorless, poker-faced character that would play straight to Prima's zany ad libs. Smith actually had a fine sense of comedy that is often audible on the team's recordings; no matter how much the incorrigible Prima tried to disrupt her vocals, Smith would often come back with a funny remark of her own.
Because she and Louis thought it made a good act for her to be. He's clowning around and being goofy, sometimes deliberately trying to make her crack up. She stays dead pan as long as possible. In some vids he does get her, which was probably planned too. Damn they were good.
Holy cow! What an amazing performance! My grandmother loved Louis Prima but my parents thought he was a clown and didn't much appreciate that style of musicianship. I didn't know who he was until he made some cheesy commercials in the early 70s in which he referred to himself as "Luigi Prima." Keely Smith is the perfect foil. Butera and the band created a really unique sound in which you can actually hear some New Orleans/Dixieland influences. Fantastic stuff.
@TeachinTV They were a great group of musicians. Unfortunately, their talent always took a back seat to clowning and stage presence, a requirement during that era of Jazz musicians. Butera could blow, and Louis wasn't chopped liver. The drummer was like glue, and the bass was always there to keep it together. But the clowning took precedence. I have to agree with your grandmother, having seen him and heard him in person. And I can't forget Keely, who could pound it out with the best of them.
Better idea. How about you go F___yourself and your radio guy AND your brother, asswipe. Oh wait, you can't F___anyone, because your dick is between your ears. Idiot.
@TeachinTV Reading your exchanges explains why men are always starting wars. I wish we could bring back legal dueling. That would attract an audience and it is a manly exchange, unlike the pussydicks killing each other in drive-by shootings. Some gangsters, huh? Oh well, enjoy venting.
@sobieskilinda If you read the thread, I didn't say anything about HIS parents that could be construed as insulting. Damned right I'll start a war if someone messes with my family. Uncalled for attacks on my mom and dad because of their musical preferences--choose your weapon. How about rapiers?
