Yep, they said they were gonna keep going as long as they continue to be popular. Tobin Bell (John/Jigsaw) signed on for 6 movies. So there's no guarantee that he'll be in the 7th, but there's no doubt in my mind that a 7th, and possibly even an 8th will be made.

Watch Saw 2... You see the Doctor Apprentice working on the guys face with the key under his eye... the guy has a limp... I think it was supposed to be Gordon before Elwes had that legal problem with the Saw team...

Now that makes sense, other than that..to me, the limping mean NOTHING! As much as I would love for Dr Gordon to be in the final tiwst in Saw 6, Its just impossible for that to happen. Unless someone else plays that Character, but that would be stupid

Limp is significant. What character limps in the series besides someone who "Saw"ed off his leg in the first film? He survived the game, wanted to live, was willing to change for the better. He proved his worth to Jigsaw, Adam wasn't willing to sacrifice to survive. I was hoping the whole legal thing was just a smokescreen to trick viewers into just assuming his character is dead. If they really wanted to get rid of Gordon, why is his body never seen? Most of the other characters, you see bodies

but you never find out what happened to Gordon, or his family. I think if he is the true apprentice. But I could be 100% wrong... everytime I watch the 5 movies I try to find any sign that Gordon is the "True" apprentice. I hope they don't do a cop out and make Jill Tuck the new apprentice. Cause she or Gordon could fill in all the anatomy solutions to the puzzles to keep them alive without killing them if they were to survive. Jigsaw is a genius but that's taking it too far to give him that.

I think Dr. Gordon has done a lot of the traps, or at least pitched a lot of the ideas to Jigsaw. For example, the "Save As I Save" trap; where Morgan and her husband were tied down by rods in their arteries. Jigsaw knows nothing about the human body, but Dr. Gordon is a surgeon and obviously studied it.

Right... I completely agree with you there... I'm just hoping that they real Gordon as one of the Apprentices. And they don't make it Jill because they couldn't get Elwes to return. Because she did look in the box. It could have been the next set of instructions... but seriously that would be lame... Dr. Gordon for the return... I read somewhere that Gordon is revealed in the Saw Videogame as the antagonist...

I don't think they'd make Jill an accomplice. It's just way too obvious. Jigsaw said "If you're good at anticipating the human mind, it leaves nothing to chance." in Saw V -- He was talking about Hoffman; he knew Strahm wasn't going to get in that box. He also framed Strahm into making Erickson thinking he's Jigsaw's accomplice. Obviously they'll soon figure out it wasn't him and Hoffman has to frame someone again. That box may contain info about what Hoffman is capable of; warning Jill.

I agree Roadie, but the past two Saws (IV and V) have been major disappointments for me and many other fans. Not to say they were terrible films, but the quality was definitely lost and they felt extremely rushed. Not to mention they had messy scripts, an overload of characters (most of whom were flat and one dimensional), a lack in suspense/tension, etc. The series is now being used as a cash cow, the producers are milking it dry.
