I am horrified that people can be so cruel to do this to an animal. Look at that sweet boy. It pains me deeply to see this. I keep saying, we don't have an animal problem here in the US, but we do have a PEOPLE problem. Uneducated and irresponsible people are leading to countless animals being abused & killed every year. When will these monsters ever learn? Rocky, you sweet man bless you in your new life. XOXO

What the fuck is wrong with people. They must have been shown no love as a child to be able to leave a poor animal like that. Obvious they never had a mother that loved them. Thank god for people in the world that can help these animals. God bless you all.

I rarely comment on videos, but wanted to take a minute and thank you for what you do. I am an emergency veterinary technician and see suffering strays all too frequently. As a result, all of my personal pets are rescued strays: Morgan- pit bull hit-by-car with a fractured femur, Nick- cat hit-by-car with fractured jaw, Smudgie- shih tzu x emaciated/starving and one giant oily mat of hair, Spooner- hypoglycemic kitten nearly dead when found by dumpster, etc. Kudos to you, my friend!!

His coloration favors the girl I rescued from near death several years ago. She didn't have mange, but heart worms and other health issues. She recovered and we shared four wonderful years. She was guessed to be around eight when I took her in. Rocky is so beautiful and sweet. I am so glad you saved him. I look forward to watching the update. Thank you!

Thumbs up if you agree there should be an mandatory spay/neuter program. My sister's town has this policy in place and there are very few strays.

My current city doesn't have one yet, but the dog's license is triple if there are not altered. Therefor most people do choose to fix their pets. If everyone (apart from independant licensed breeders and show dogs and service animals) did this, the world would be a better place for all dogs and cats

What about the working dogs? You expect farmers, hunters, and anyone else that wants an athletic, well bred dog, to go to show dog breeders (who sometimes inbreed to "preserve" the champion bloodline) to get a working dog? Most show dogs can't even do what they were originally bred for because Kennel Clubs like the AKC think sloping backs, exaggerated wrinkles, and flabby jaws are more important than prey drive, advanced senses, and most important, physical stability!

Rocky seems to say, "thank you Lord for sending me these good people. I have waited for so long that I thought no one's gonna find me. And now they're in my life I thank you because you put me into these very good hands."

He just appreciates even the littlest of gestures. It doesn't make sense why people would just throw away dogs and every animal. God bless you kind sir and all the volunteers, concerned citizens and the vets and foster homes who gave so much for these dogs.

Stupid people who didn't really show their care for Rocky on the streets for toooooo long!! They must be the mexicans ... I had seen the tiny dog walking on the sidewalk by itself through the mexicans,but none of them were concerned for and just stared at it.... I yelled at them Give it a home!!

His expression just shows so much thankfulness, like if he's waiting for so long for a kind touch... I think what I like the most about your videos is that despite how terrible they might seem at time,they are also beautiful because they have happy endings, in which the dogs and other animals get the help they have been needing all along to make up for what they've gone through. Animals, especially dogs, are the most forgiving creatures. Despite the hardships that poor Rocky must have endured on the streets at the hands of evil human beings, still, he puts his fate in their hands, hoping beyond all hope that these will be kind and loving ones.

It brought me to tears, the sweet and gentle nature of this poor animal in spite of what he'd suffered. I wish I could take him but my four cats (rescues) would have a problem with that.
