looking back, the sound on this is far too balls out metal (very gainy) for the type of music.

i've realised by trying to cover something that requires a lot of subtlty that it really is what you dont play as much as what you do sometimes :)

Yah its an ibanez xiphos guitar in standard D, the amp is a tiny marshall 15 W practise amp on clean and the pedal is a POD XT Live with the metal pack on it. The amp that is being modeled is a Deizel Herbert in this case... I've toned down the prescence etc for live stuff though because it was a bit high end fizzy/hissy. Hope that helps.

You got that sound out of a Marshall practice amp? i mean i know you had the POD XT live through it but I'm surprised a Marshall practice amp gave you a sound like that. i expected something more tinny sounding then that. kewl. awesome cover. like the other covers to.
