TEACHING YOURSELF DODGE. The reason I think I keep failing at the dodge jump is because I keep firing the guns which screws up the dodge, you have to do the dodge combo FIRST and then WAIT until you can shoot. To practice actual dodge simply enrage the boss and when he charges take your hand OFF the mouse momentarily so you can focus just on the dodge. When the screen blurs hit S key (backwards button) first and then the shift key and HOLD shift until the two reticals go red, THEN shoot

to beat the centaurs you should go to /options/ then to /controls/ and then to /target lock/ and activate /advanced toggle/ that's the only way to make the move and defeat them!!!!

Actually what I didn't get is that you have to keep shooting on them when they go in rage so Lara doesn't put her guns back to their holster when they charge.

The beam will reflect of shield, and minotaurus will get petrified. Let go off shield by pressing E button, and quickly shoot him (any weapon is okay, but I suggest magnum).

When his health drops down, he will break up. It's most likely you will need to make him petrified twice to finish him off.

Then repeat the same procedure for the other one (stripping shield, reflecting...)

P.S. It might be better to first strip both minos, and then petrify one by one.

You quickly turn to face the confused minotaurus, use graple (Q button here) which will catch minotaurus, and then you use button for pulling graple (E button here), and you should be able to pull off the shield.

(Note: sometimes you can't pull it off, so just repeat the whole procedure)

Then stand over shield on floor, and shoot minotaurus who has no shield. Once he starts using green beam, press E button to wear the shield.

When he is near enough (estimate), I press Right Arrow Key (RAK), and then SHIFT, with time distance of as if I were saying "ding-dong", or "ta-da". It is important that you hold RAK until adrenaline mode (AM) pops up. When you enter AM, you let go of all keys except X.

Then, when 2 grey circles combine into red one, you press shoot button.

The minotaurus is now confused for a while.

Minotaurus used to annoy me very much as well! I hated this part. And once I realized how to kill them, I enjoyed this part so much I went to kill them over and over, and over XD

Here's how:

I set X button for holding weapons (not shooting). I hold X button and shoot 1 minotaurus with shoot button. When he becomes enraged, I let go off shoot button, but STILL hold the X button. Then he runs at me.

I hate games which are not entertaining, because of being too difficult to do and make you spend days weeks or months on a single fucking level. I love T.R. but they could have made these freaking boss-parts a bit easier...I'm not playing because i have plenty of time. If you're having a ton of trouble getting the first one to drop a shield - you have my commiserations. That was me for the past three knacking hours.

My problem was getting the adrenaline dodge right. Once i managed that, i was able to do it three more times after getting my stony tits kicked off.

Get up, make a cup of tea, read stella's guide to dodging and try again.

Enlightenment is as fast as a light switch.

the important thing is to make sure you get a head shot in. you need to dodge and hit when the red circle comes up. you cant do it without that. then when his stunned you grapple his shield and use it on him as the horseman goes to freeze you. thats about as simple as i can put it

if you only hit them when the GRAY reticules overlap, they will be hit BUT Lara cannot turn around quickly enough to grapple the shield. So I make a claim that you MUST shoot them when the thing is red.

(the T-Rex worked well with the gray reticules. if not to say, much better)

ok, you can cheat a little if you don't mind. As soon as the fight begins, draw your weapons and target one centaur. Then run towards the water, jump in and quickly swim down into the tunnel with the switch. Get out onto the ledge with the switch and wait for the first centaur to commit suicide. Then return to the arena as quickly as possible. In this way you need to fight with only one centaur. And you'll find a shield the first centaur left behind. Good luck!

well, in order to get to that darn tunnel, you need to heal Lara with medipacks along the way (press V or B to heal her). Trust me, it's much easier to get into the tunnel, than to return to the arena after the first centaur is dead. Be sure to have at least 10 large and 20 small medipacks in your inventory, just for the trip to this tunnel and back. Again, good luck, fellow raiders! And I still recommend defeating the centaurs in regular way. Don't give up! You'll beat them eventually.

what works for me is right before i hit the roll button, i hit the direction i want to dodge, then hit the roll button. go back to one of the t-rex battle and practice it until you can get the handle of it.

Did you open the door to the buiding where they are standing? If not the lever is a a cavern that you have to swim to under water. Once you've done that go back and go in the building. A cutscence will come on and they will come to life.

When the screen goes blurry you have to roll (don't mistake rolling with jumping). If that's not the problem, then maybe you're rolling towards them instead of away from them.

I had a lot of problems with the adarenaline dodge, too. When the screen goes blurry, you have to press a directional button and the roll button.

While doing this, make sure you have the target lock button pressed down. That was the mistake I kept making. For well over two hours. :P I hope this helps you!

get the horses mad(not the green blast mad(every other one)) roll backwards once, wait for the circles to go red and shoot.. it will stun the horse.. shoot it a few more times then grapple the shield..This took a few times to get right as well... then stay close to the shield..you only need the one.. when they freeze you shield it back to them then go shoot them.. STAY close to the shield!!

to kill them use the adredeline dodge (left analoge stick + O button) BUT ALSO HOLD THE L1 AND R1 BUTTONS. do the dodge and RELEASE THE R1 BUTTON if the arrows meet each other on the centaurs head and shoot.grab his shield and use it against him when he is doing the medussa moves. let me know if it workt dudes, good luck

The sectret to Adrenaline Dodge...

1. Shoot the enemy untill they become enraged (see the orange flash)

2. Hold alt-attack to lock onto the enemy but do nothing else whilst they charge at you.

3. As soon as you see the blue onscreen arrows perform a normal roll manoever (hit an arrow key, then quickly follow it with crouch so you momentarily press both keys together).

4. Still holding alt attack to nothing whilst the cross-hairs align.

5. FIRE!

Hello!  For PS2, press the left analog stick in any direction with the circle button at the same time. I recommend holding L1 while you do it.
